There might have been a note in the description regarding what happened, but I accidentally broke a couple of the plastic rivets when removing the old cover and forgot to replace them when removing the rest, assuming that I would receive replacements when I put the new one on. I'd say that there weren't any replacement RICOTS and they were apparently dealer items? It is not disappointing that the cap fit perfectly, but it would be nice to be able to get replacement rivots since they are not necessarily easy to remove. For those who are considering purchasing, this is just a heads up.
As a driver of an 2009 Ram 1500 SLT, this thing seems quite small to me. In both cases, it easily snaps in up top, but it's not as long as the original. This means there's about a quarter inch gap on either side, which is not apparent at a distance. I purchased the rivets for the tailgate that was unnecessary since my tailgate doesn't have the holes for them. It is possible that I might return them. Despite this, I am still confident that this cover will not fly off while I am driving, as it feels quite solid. In general, I can't give this a 5 because, at least not for my truck, it isn't perfect. However, it looks good and seems to be well made, so I am happy about it. The product would have been a 5 star if the 6, 10 cent Rivot pins had been included. It's not complete without the mounting hardware, and the old ones can't be reused. Additionally, I had to buy a pack of 100 needles (when I needed only six) that were recommended, but they were too big and 8mm. The hole sizes are 3 and 11/64. My only disagreement is the quality of the molded clips, which are far superior to the ones made of plastic in Originally, all old originals would snap off when removing them, and they were also of weaker construction. All of the original plastic pop rivets were able to be unsnapped without breaking them, and I was able to re-use them, however I recommend buying a bag of them since they are not included.
