A loose locking system was always preventing us from using our Trailmanor. There is no movement from these. A bolt was run through the walls of the camper to anchor it. I have not encountered any problems.
There are about two months since it was installed, and the car hasn't been used much, but it has been a pleasure to drive. The handle is very easy to remove, so mounting the metal base is super easy).
