I think you would be able to hold it fine if you used a quality self etching primer for chrome, I know it wouldn't be affected by the heat, I've had it on my stacks for over a year and it still looks the same as day one.

I urge you to stop and read. As a starter, I should have heeded the warnings from the reviews stating that this product would not last long. That was a huge mistake on my part! Here's what I did I followed all the prep instructions precisely. Prior to applying this product I sanded, wire brushed with a drill wheel, sucked dust out of the engine compartment and wiped the surface with a paint thinner solution. Oh, and I air compressed everything again before applying product just to make The application of the product was very easy and enjoyable if that is possible, the result was so good that I spent another $400 to do two more vehicles. I couldn't be happier because it looks so great I wanted to spray my house, cars, the dog, and anything else I could find. The vehicle has to be in the garage for seven days before anything is put inside. Then major depression hits and shit hits the fan. * I get to my destination and when I remove my cargo, a white streak appears on the cargo area. Now comes the test, writing on the cargo area with a marker. It is impossible for this stuff to be bad, since it is wonderful and beautiful. This is wrong! As I should have listened to the reviews, there were three deep scratches that went all the way to the raw In the end, it's beyond frustrating and I am extremely angry. I spent hours upon hours, hundreds of dollars, and hundreds of hours to do three vehicles, and I can't refund my money. It looks great, so if you're looking for something like that, you've come to the right place. With only two moderate coats of Raptor, it's an extremely thin coating. It would have been better if I had used Rustoleum Bdlliner in a spray can.

I can't say enough good things about the black Raptor Liner product and the tintable Raptor Liner product! I use both products regularly and they are always exceeding With this product, I've painted the entire interior of my truck, and my only regret is that I didn't do Using this color as a bumper, grille, and flares (see pics) the car looks very aggressive. This product is ten out of ten. I would recommend it.
This is a good looking and very durable product. The cost is a little high, but I suppose you get what you pay for and in this instance the product is definitely worth it.
