It's great. I used the kit and it worked great, but it's all in the prep. I recommend using an adhesion promoter on plastic and scuffing surfaces thoroughly before applying the adhesive. Before you finish a product, test it on a piece of scrap. Preparation is all there is to it.
Bedliners and vehicle coatings have been applied to my vehicles with this product. To achieve adhesion, you need the right prep. Don't leave any shiny paint, no bare metal, and no rust on your vehicle. Do a final wipe down before driving- Once you have completed all of that, you are ready.
By YouTube, I was able to research the hell out of this product. After watching a lot of videos on how to do it, I decided to give it a try. There was a fair amount of rust under the paint along the rockers of my truck. It is without a doubt that preparation is the key to the application of To start, I sanded out all rust, bondo'd every area I wanted to spray, wiped it clean with denatured alcohol, taped the rest off with painters tape, covered the rest of the truck and garage floor with plastic, and then got started. In the spraying layer, the hardest part is to use a graduated mixing cup to mix the hardener and shake it as hard as I could for someone like me to use two As I was running the gun at 50 PSI, I threaded the nozzle all the way in. I really like the texture that I got. Several similarities exist between this product and new factory applied bed liners. The final product will no longer be tacky once fully cured, and will be The spray bottle I used for both sides held 3 and a half ounces. Although it may have been an overkill, I cleaned the gun with denatured alcohol between the As soon as I wiped off the stem with a rag, I ran it through the alcohol bottle and sprayed until it came out clear (then I let it fully dry, which is very fast). It took me one hour between coats and 30 minutes for the last coat Remove the tape more than 40 minutes before you remove As a result, edges retained their shape well. In addition to this, because of the weather, I left the truck in the garage for 3 full days to allow the Raptor Liner to cure before driving it away. Unless it is cured, the instructions said NOT to allow it to get wet. It is the last thing I want to happen is that water gets behind the liners. It would be absolutely fine for me to do this again without any hesitation. Following the bed, you can start on the couch. Nevertheless, don't forget to remember PREP IS AN ESSENTIAL PART of the process. Make sure you don't slack on that, and you'll find everything else is more manageable. I wish you all the best!.
I can attest that it was just as easy as they claimed. It is the prep work (degreasing/cleaning the bed, scuffing it up, and taping it off) which is by far the toughest part of this process. It took no time at all to mix and apply the pre-moistened primer The spray nozzle was included along with the measured bottles. Despite getting the 6 quart version for an 8 foot truck bed, I only used 4 of them (2 for the first coat and then 1 each for the second and third coats). It's important to clean the nozzle between coats since you have to wait an hour between them, but instructions tell you that. We are very pleased with the final result. Because I only finished this yesterday, and I haven't put a load on it yet, I am unable to comment on its durability. However, I would recommend it to my friends.
I like the way it looks and works The first coat of black should be applied before the color topcoat. If you are going to use a color, I would suggest saving the color for the You may be able to save some money if you use black as a base for large projects.
The bottles I received were not as many as I expected.
It's amazing how many different things I can use Raptor liner for. The only truck bed I've ever done was a trailer This product has a wide range of uses, which are limited only by the imagination. The tintable kind as well as the black kind is what I use. My work has just been re-edited We are building an inside and out of a 12 ft aluminum boat with a It turned out to be a beautiful new boat from an old beat up one. I like how tough the finish was.
This is the first time I've tried this product, so I thought it would be valuable. This product is what I used to cover the wood floor within my enclosed trailer. I used these kits to build a 7x14 trailer, and the amount was perfect for the floor and an inch or two on I found the application process to be very easy. So I never had to stop spraying because my friend was mixing for me while I sprayed. In addition to the way it went down, I was very impressed with how durable it appeared. In the end, I will see how it holds up, but in the meantime, I am extremely satisfied. This is definitely a product I would recommend.
