Questions & Answers

Is this something that can ?

The brush can be applied to the area. We are very pleased with how our truck bed turned out.

What about the spray gun that comes with this kit?

The gun can be purchased separately, as well as the kit however, the gun can be reused

All the sides of my truck have been sprayed. It has cured for seven days and I was wondering if I should clearcoat it after it has dried for seven days. Does it matter if I do it after the product has dried an hour later?

You may be getting the answers posted above for no apparent reason. So far I've sprayed this stuff on maybe 20 truckbeds and on lower body perimeters, as well as in the wheel wells in order to simulate wheel flares. Once you have added the correct amount of hardner to the 2k polyurethane, mix it directly with the bed coating. (I use UreChem products.) Adding clear to the bottle with just enough room to get a good mix is fine (between 3 and 4 ounces usually works) - shake and let cool. Be sure to shake it as instructed. It's completely safe to spray as you normally would, and you don't have to worry about how you're going to remove The product has also been clear sprayed over the "uncleared" product within an hour or two. It's been smooth sailing so far Then and now. Work on the preparations The product is not free of flaws, as with any other An adhesive that adheres and is durable is key to good performance.

How much primer is required to etch metal primer? Do you have to prime what you plan to etch?

It does. However, you might want to sand with 80 grit and wipe down the surface with acetone before applying the spray. Before applying the Raptor liner, I recommend priming with black and sanding lightly if the metal is bare

This is a great choice for enclosed trailers
5/5

Those who have commented on this topic have mentioned how important prep work is. If you do not want Raptor to come in contact with any areas, tape those off. ROCTOR WILL work on wood, however, any areas that are oily will need to be sanded before it can be used. You should always keep lacquer thinner on hand as a backup. Every 4 liters, the sprayer can be cleaned quickly in this way. As "gunk" accumulates, it hinders the engine's performance.

In light of this experience, I would recommend spraying the first coat one direction on trailers (like in my application). On the second coat, we paint the opposite direction (front to back / back to front or the other way around). Because of the grains / grooves in plywood, this occurs. In the case of spraying both coats in one direction, you will have some spots of plywood grain still showing. Using a 6-gallon pancake compressor set at 70 PSI I was able to create the vacuum. It was a little challenging to spray the first coat since I wasn't consistent with the depth. The gap between 12" and 20" was the range I was going between. Do not worry, as you can easily fix the final result texture if you apply a second coat. You just need to be consistent with your second In the end, you do not need 100 ml of paint, as UPOL suggests. When it comes to purchasing automotive paint, it gets pretty pricey. You have to be consistent when it comes to measuring milliliters per liter. Each liter of water was diluted with 70ml of Jet Black. To touch Raptor, it only takes an hour to dry. It takes approximately 4 hours to walk on, but while walking you can feel the "texture". If you want to apply a second coat, you should let it sit overnight. It took a week for the liner to cure completely before I could walk on it and work in it. You can't go wrong with it! In terms of length and width, my trailer measures 18' long by 7' wide. Aside from spraying the floor, ramp and 18" up the walls, I also painted the Here is the amount I used (hopefully this was helpful for other people since I couldn't find reviews explaining the exact amount to buy) Please note *br*br*- -Once a year, 2 quarts of auto paint A 15 liter Raptor bottle.

It's a great product! 70 psi A smooth texture is displayed at 1' There is a pressure of 40 pounds per square inch
5/5

It's a great product! 70 psi A smooth texture is displayed at 1' The pressure is 40 psi at a rougher texture of 2'. As for the rocker rock guard, I smoothed it. As for the bedliner, I roughed it. This is a perfect product. This is a very durable material. You should buy two kits if you are interested in coatings with professional thickness. It may be fine to use one kit, but I'm not sure. The first kit I have on is adequate, and I don't doubt that it will With a thinner coating, this product might be just as durable as the professional spray kits. The schutz gun will have to be purchased separately. This is nothing to be frightened of You can spray this on anyone and look great. The gun will be cleaned by spraying this with about one quarter cup of acetone. Mixing and spraying organic solvents require the use of a vapor respiratory mask. Additionally, it will release fumes for a few weeks after installation. It is easy to mix two bottles at a time. You will use them up pretty quickly. You should wait one hour after flash time so that the flash doesn't get on the ground, floor, walls, panels, etc. Make sure you mask off the ground or cover anything you don't want to be stained with the flash. Despite that, I adore it.

A raptor liner is the best choice! Having just sprayed it today, I have to say the alternative product is a complete disappointment
5/5

There is no other way than with this raptor. To make my bedliner, bumper, and bottom skirting, I used 14 bottles of black custom coat. Despite using the tintable option, I used only six bottles of Raptor liner for the whole truck, including the interior door jams. By far, this is the easiest and most efficient product you can use. The custom coat for black fits me better since I don't have to worry about it much, however I wish I would have ordered all raptors instead. Thanks a lot! I firmly believe that prepping is also important, as it gets I recommend taping it, if you don't want anyone to text you about it.

It worked well, and I have a few suggestions that might be useful
5/5

We were really happy with how well it turned out and how easy it was The generic U-shaped container worked for me It took a husky 20 gallon air compressor at 50 PSI to spray the Gravitex with the Pol Products 0726 Spray Gun. Tips for creating a website (Pep talk You should set your spray gun at 50 PSI while holding it open). After sanding with 220 grit paper and taping off with general painter's tape, it took me about an hour to prep. As a followup to the sanding I cleaned the bed with rubbing alcohol. To coat the bed and tailgate, I sprayed a total of four coats over the course of about six hours. To avoid deterioration of the spray gun over time, I soaked it in acetone between coats. I am very happy with everything that turned out. From the sanding stage to the first coat to the second, third, and final coat, the photos are in order.

My rating is 5
5/5

0 out of 5 because I put this on in about 80 seconds Weather of 90 deg and a cheap 2 - not a good combination. It was a 5hp air compressor with no driers on the line. I set the psi to around 50 and everything seemed to be fine. I found that it built up on spots and did not apply equally or between coats. Also, the high temperature caused it to cure before mixing the next batch. The first day I finished I could see the imperfections on the liner, but a week later I moved the box from truck bed to truck bed and there were no scratches. There is a glossy coating that I do not like, but I was aware of this beforehand. While this is not rhino liners or whatever the professional stuff is, I have tried some enamel based products (like the Rustoleum spray and roll on bedliners you can buy at Walmart) and this stuff is better in virtually every way except A Hi Lift style jack did scratch it when I dropped it on the tailgate, but it's not visible and didn't go all the way through. kits, and think there were 8 quarts in each and I painted an 8 foot bed twice, on both sides and the tailgate (as well as some under the body in areas where I was trying to remove rust). As a side note, I had to put a mat under the job site box to keep it from moving, and to be sure I added a strap. For those with no money to spare, you can find someone to use your preferred spray in pro stuff if you desire, but this appears to be a very similar solution Due to the fact that I'm not a good painter, I can only attest to the function. It took a few hours to sand, clean, degrease, and I used a can of either etch or whatever they call it, but once I start spraying, I'm in a hurry.
