My application is tucked away beneath a thick mattress topper. The smart liner, on the other hand, lacks a drain and has an inch-high lip or side that I'm sure will retain water.
It will fit my 2020 Silverado 4 door short bed. I would not, however, purchase another. Dargo will not be able to pass through it. even a carry-on bag It also has a lip that traps water all the way around. With a shp vac, you'll have to suck it out.
I installed it in my 2021 Crew cab short bed and it fit perfectly. The only issue I had was that when I went through a car wash, the wind would blow it around. I'm looking for some fasteners to keep it in place, but it's a heavy piece, so it should last.
These liners are for the 2019-2020 model year. Only fits Crew Cab with 5'8" Short Bed, Black in the 2021 Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500.

Not so much when it comes to shipping. Fits perfectly in the bed of a 2021 Silverado 5'8 truck. It has the appearance of being extremely long lasting. Because there are no drainage holes, I can see how water retention could be an issue, but I have a bed cover, so that seems to be a minor issue for me. I'm very happy. My only gripe is with the shipping rather than with the product itself. When it was listed as a prime item, it took 7 days to arrive, and it was delivered via USPS rather than FedEx or UPS. They refused to deliver it because it was an "oversized item," so I had to go to the post office and wait in line to get it. I was expecting it to be delivered to my front door, so it was a bit of a pain. It was just a minor point to be aware of. Five stars for the product, but not so much for the shipping.
This thing is a behemoth. Getting sucked out of bed is not a problem for me. br>It fits perfectly, but as others have mentioned, it could use some drain holes (yes, it holds water). br>This is just a thought for the manufacturer. br>The back lip of the tailgate should be lowered to allow water to drain naturally. br>I used the 1/2" punch from a Punch Set to make a nice clean round hole for drainage. br>I've added some new photos to the post. The water does find its way to the drains, as evidenced by the small amount of dampness in the corners.
This mat is fantastic in terms of thickness and quality! It's gentle on your knees while crawling around in bed, and it's extremely grippy. Things aren't going to move around! Because it's so thick and heavy, it's a little more difficult to get in and out of than other mats I've used. The raised edges are useful for keeping things out from under it. However, as others have mentioned, I did drill a couple of drain holes so that water does not collect. I'm also not sure if the raised lip on the tailgate end is a good idea. It's a little more difficult to get things in and out (you can't really slide things into the bed from the tailgate). If the back lip gets in the way too much, I might have to cut it off. I am, however, content in general.
This bed mat fits my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab Short Bed's contours perfectly. The raised ribs also match the raised ribs in the truck bed's floor. br>br>Whoever created it had to have seen the actual model for which it was created. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that the drain holes in the mat do not match the drain holes in the bed. br>br> br>br>I give this item four stars solely for this reason. br>br>In my mat, I cut two drain holes. Take a look at the photos that go along with the review. The raised circumference lip on this mat will cause it to retain water if you have an uncovered bed. It's possible that your truck bed will become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and mold as a result of this.
You're probably wondering why I'm doing this since I have a spray-on bed liner. Additional protection, especially if you're moving materials to an area where the spray on liner can easily be scratched or shift during transportsbr>br>Mad is heavy duty, solid weight, and great fitment. Photos can be found here. br>br>Another advantage is that you can still ventilate underneath if it gets wet, though I recommend removing it and washing/drying it to avoid any problems.
It's the perfect fit for my Chevy Silverado 2021. I have a bed cover, so I don't have to worry about it getting wet, but if you don't, you might want to consider drilling some drain holes in it. However, I believe this is intended to be used in conjunction with a waterproof bed cover.
If my truck didn't already have a factory-installed bedliner, this product would be perfect. My only gripe is that the product description makes no mention of the fact that it cannot be used in a truck with a bedliner, and now I have to deal with the hassle of return shipping. So, if your truck has a bedliner, this product will not work for you!.
For my GMC, I bought this product. It was a perfect match. There are two issues: first, there is a completely useless lip in the back (near the tailgate). After installing it (just rolling it out), I simply cut off the 2" lip with a utility knife. The second issue is that there are no drain holes. As a result, you should cut drain holes on top of the ones already present in the bed, or you'll end up with a pool of water.
