Questions & Answers

This will work on a wheel well molding, too? It has lost the black colour from the sun on the black molding that surrounds the wheel wells of my 2004 F150 pickup. ?

This would be true if the molding was made of plastic. The product worked fantastically on all of the hard plastic and rubber moldings I used. am not sure what material your 5th wheel molding is made of, but if it is made of rubber or plastic, I would purchase a small bottle of cleaner. The gallon size container may be of interest if you like the results.

Are you able to use red bedliner with this?

The red dye won't work with this as it is a colorant.

How do you maintain the appearance of hercules bed liners on the back of the truck even after they have been brushed? Are there any products that make them look like new agean all the time?

Don't hesitate to give it a coat, this product will last a long time, and when you wash your truck, you should wash the bed liner.

Can you tell me how much area each container covers?

In my case, it took one and a half bottles to cover a long bed. It was an excellent coverage and product. *br>The truck bed looks as new as ever!

Selected User Reviews For Forever Black Truck Bed Liner Gel

The product, so far, has been fantastic, I don't normally write reviews, however, up until now it has been nothing short of It has been about 20 years since I last had a Line-X brand bedliner
5/5

Although the truck has been covered most of that time, it still functions as a working truck and is used regularly for hauling things. Bedliner color has lightened over the years and is now gray rather The sponge that was included was used, but I snipped off with a razor the grooves that are designed for plastic bedliner. When I saw how well the bedliner turned out, I was amazed. Armor had been a part of my past experiences I painted all over it to improve the color, but it made the bedliner so slippery that it turned into an ice skating rink. Based on the results obtained, this product basically achieved the same results as the slippery finish alternative. With one bottle, I was able to clean the entire 8' bed, sides, and tailgate. My original order was for two bottles, but I really only needed one due to reviews. For the future, I will save the other. It will be interesting to see if the results last, but so far I am extremely happy with their results and recommend this product highly.

I am very satisfied with the product
5/5

The spray was easy to apply and restored the faded color of my spray-can It is like a brand new bed liner. In addition, I was unable to remove several small white spots from the liner using conventional cleaning methods. Ensure the bed is thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to use. Once the product was applied, I used a foam paint brush and foam paint roller to apply it. One bottle of product covered my entire six' table. The bed of the Silverado truck is 1/2' long.

Despite the fact that the liner was installed several years ago, it still looks new
5/5

To revive the DIY Herculining installed on the Jeep Wrangler tub (which did not have carpet), I used this product. We are in the middle of winter Gel that dries fairly quickly on the old lining and helps to die the surface (so be careful what you touch and wipe away the gel quickly on areas you don't want to get on). It sufficed for a one-time use of a single bottle Don't forget to leave a small amount to spare. Coat all the surface generously with the tub coating. As for my particular installation, the liner has an extremely coarse traction additive, so I recommend that you BLOT the product with the sponge, DO NOT scrub, swipe, wipe, or rub, otherwise you will destroy the applicator in quick time and end up with bits on The fact that they included an application tool and the instructions are easy to follow is great they just need to give you an application strategy which I just explained. **I can't speak to the longevity of this product yet, and you should bear in mind that this is a SURFACE treatment and won't hold up to pulling heavy loads in and out of the bed of your truck. This product is not for restoring your liner to its original "fresh" look, but if you want to revive your UV faded or "dirty" liner, it will work well for you.

Wow! I am so impressed with this stuff! Those are some of the reasons I like Forever Black Bed Liner Gel so much
5/5

On my 2003 F-150 there was a sticker on the driver's side About an hour is required for installing 150 sheets of bed liner. After reading several reviews about the included applicator breaking halfway through the application process, I decided to use a sponge instead of the applicator that comes with the kit. I found the sponge to be very helpful. Despite using less than 8 fluid ounces, I still had a good result. Since I bought two kits, I probably have enough to last me for two I really liked the way my liner looked after using it. This is a product I highly recommend, and I would give it more stars if I could!.

There's no point in getting a lot of it in a little bit
3/5

This bottle was not meant to last more than two uses on my five foot bed. I used the entire bottle to do the bed. Although it works fairly well, it dries lighter, so when it's wet it looks better. The after picture was taken at the end of the drying process. The mixture can be very messy, so it is best to wear gloves and keep from getting it on your paint if possible. Once it dries, it will be harder to remove. If you don't remove it right away, it will be much harder. The only thing I use to remove it is auto paint detailer spray. A tire shine actually looks better, but doesn't last too long and can make the bedliner slippery so if this lasts for several months then it will prove to.

I love working with this stuff! We purchased a bottle of this product to revitalize the bed liner of our 2009 Tacoma
5/5

It is true that the sponge part won't hold up, but once the hard top "handle" breaks off, you can still use it. In my opinion, the sponge by itself worked better than when it was attached to the hard piece of plastic. When I found any fraying of the sponge, I simply pulled off the fuzzy bits and continued. The sponge was a perfect fix for the problem as it made it easier to apply the bed liner to nooks and crannies made over time in the bed liner. It came out great for the bed liner- One bottle of solution was enough for two applications. On the side rail tops, I also used this product (and the results are amazing! I would give it a 5 STAR rating Could anyone take a look at using this on other items such as car door handles, mirror housing, bumpers, etc. ?.

This is a quick and easy way to give the bed a new look
5/5

I found this to be very useful. This product does a good job of dying a bed black again as you can see in the before and after shots. Wipe on and you'll be able to touch up any spots you missed the next morning. It is great that it won't peel and that you don't need to mask everything like you do with spray paint. If it lasts longer than 6 months, it will not be a hassle, but even if I had to do it every year, it would not be a problem. The bed on this Honda Ridgeline is a Honda.

I love this product because it's simple The software is easy to use and works well so far
5/5

I don't generally write reviews, but so far the software has been outstanding. I bought a used truck last month, and after a couple of car washes, the bed had faded from when the dealership had made it look nice. Therefore, I put on my gloves, followed the instructions, and started digging. To complete the whole bed, it took me barely over an hour. I found the interface to be user-friendly. That wasn't the only issue and was my fault. I could have been too rough or I had a lousy foam applicator on my hands. Nonetheless, a half hour later, the foam completely disintegrated, leaving nothing really left. The bed wasn't plastic and was sprayed so maybe I was less rough with it than I thought. If you have a heavy hand, maybe buy an extra in case you got a little carried away, but the bed looks clean and brand new. Because the product has paint in it as well, it even covered up a small rust stain. The left side of the bread has been coated. A faded area is on the right hand side.
