It is important to know that these are not the Plastic is used for them. A Maxxtraxx is a fiber-optic cable There are no fillers here, so these are not extra strong or crack resistant. An original Maxxtrax pair cost $340, and these were $110 at the time of purchase. Your decision is whether or not $230 is worth it for the material difference. I believe Maxxtraxx to be a 5 star product for its price and capability. Additionally, Maxxtraxx can be used for bridging, but you have to stack a few in order to achieve the required strength. It's not like you'll spend that much money to have that many, is it? In light of the material they are made of, we should not use them for bridging at all. There is no ramp here, but a traction board. The product was great. I would purchase it.
To me, spending hundreds more on the competition makes no sense, since I rarely need something like this. Then about a month ago I ended up using these on a lake to help a guy in a F350 who got stuck in some sand, and they worked without a hitch and don't look worn out at all. It's crazy how well those tires hold up under an 8000 lb Hummer H2. I used them yesterday with my Hummer H2 and I have to tell you, they don't look any worse for wear and we haven't broken any yet. Those on the fence about these things should give them a try before dropping hundreds on some name brand that might give you higher value for the price.
I'll be buying more to keep in other vehicles just to be safe, these things are incredible.
They have been in my possession for a couple months and I have used them a couple of The price makes them even more attractive, as they are a great traction board. The tires were no problem in mud or snow when I drove a 94 Land Cruiser that was fairly loaded. For about 70 bones, I managed to create a nice mount for the arb roof rack. It was a fraction of the cost of my competitors and I could not be happier with it. This is a great board. I highly recommend it. They measure 41 7/8" long x 12" wide x 2 1/2" high when mounted on the wall. When stacked, they are about 4 inches high.
Great product at a great price. My only complaint is that I received this item and the carry case was filled with mold. You can see a photo here! The mold I disposed of affected me due to allergies. I had to wear gloves when removing I looked at the box and it looked as though it had been sitting in a wet basement for some Would have taken a picture of it if I had thought to. So, I decided against returning the boards because I had a weekend trip planned, so I needed to put them on the truck just in case I needed them. It is a good thing I tossed the carry case, since I wasn't planning on using In spite of the moldy board I received, I am happy with the XBull board on my Taco. It looks great and I've gotten plenty of compliments and dozens of head turns as I drive through towns on my way This is the IG Bluyota Update The 20th As a rewind, I would have bought these boards without the mounting kit, which is basically 4 bolts and a screw handle that you attach to the board. It would be easy to make them with stuff from Lowes or Hardware stores. This is due to the fact that the supplied mounting bolts are not stainless, as you can see in the picture I Bolts on it show signs of rust. Overland racks are aluminum, so I know my rack isn't made from aluminum. It's more cost effective to simply purchase the board without the mounting kit if you want to save $20.
In less than 10 minutes, I was able to get my TRD RAV4 back. The price is excellent. are exactly what they claim to be. After doing a few laps around the property I unfortunately got stuck in some snow with the TRD RAV4. There was a downhill slide at the back end. There is a hole dug by the driver steer, and the passenger steer is spinning in the In snow, the AWD of the Rav4 is excellent, but when it becomes stuck, you are completely After doing this loop many times, I lost my momentum this time and was unable to complete it. With only two boards and a shovel, I cleared the snow from my path, stuck one board under the rear passenger's wheel and another under the driver's wheel. The time from the moment I became stuck until I was finally able to escape took me about 10 minutes. It should come as no surprise that as soon as I got back in the driveway, I ordered another set. The wheels could have been attached to each other by having one for each.
Please see https//www. nbsp I've been using these for two years as an off-season wardrobe essential This road is While I've only had to use them for recovery a couple of times, I use them regularly to level my truck when I'm It's inevitable that they will crack, especially in snow, but in the times I have needed them (or others), I have been happy that I have In that case, you might want to get a better quality (more expensive pair), however, since I don't have a winch and don't get stuck a lot, the pair I have is great for me. In spite of the fact that they will eventually crack, they are still well worth the price even though they are about 1/3 the price of leading brands.
* We took all four shoes to Pismo Dunes in California last weekend with the intention of teaching our 20 year old daughter how to drive and recover in soft sand. She thought she would have to get stuck however, we found she had to drive cautiously to avoid getting It took our team about two pairs to recover the vehicle, only once did we need all four to free it
I have seen videos where the traction device's snubs have been worn away or the friction has It is easy to use and control all four so they look good as the day we bought them
I will never buy another brand but these
Thanks for a wonderful product.
I was going to have to hire some help or at least set up my winch but I thought they'd be worth a shot first since I always have them with me and have not yet had a chance to use them. Put a small piece of mud in front of the front tire by digging it up at the front and back. This was able to climb onto these and hop off within a minute. The products work great and do not cause any damage. I have not tried any other brands. It didn't matter to me if I had been dragged across a cement ceiling in a parking garage (ooops, the attendant said I was okay). Works great and endures for a very long time.
