THE CROSS BARS ARE ADJUSTABLE, AND I ALMOST HAD TO CUT THEM DOWN TO FIT A GMC CANYON, SO I THINK IT WOULD FIT PERFECTLY.
Not sure. To fabricate something I could secure to the rail system in the back of my '15 Tacoma, I had to purchase 3"x3" angle iron.
This is my 2015 Tacoma, complete with bed rails. I purchased angle iron that was 3"x3"x48" and cut it down to 12". Drilled some holes and secured it to the rail system with a few extra bolts. br>I didn't want to damage the truck's bed by drilling holes in it. br>It's rock-solid and won't budge.
That's set at a certain height; you can't change it.br>

To begin with, I thought they were attractive. I missed the part where it said "this rack will not work with a bed rail system," which my Tacoma does. It will work if you are willing to adapt it. Because I didn't want to drill any holes in the bed, I bought a 2"x2"4' 3/16" angle iron (wish I could have found a 3"x3") and attached it to the rail system. To ensure that this stayed on the truck, I had to drill a couple of holes in each vertical arm. This would not have been necessary if 3"x3" angle iron had been used. br>It's holding firm and completing the task at hand.
My order arrived very quickly (due to the fact that I live 30 minutes away from the seller: Bubble wrap was used to wrap the parts in a professional manner. Although, as other reviewers have noted, there were a few nicks and blemishes. But it wasn't anything bad. br>br>Because my 2002 Tacoma has a bed liner, I had to cut through it to install the C-pillar. clamps. My C clamps were silver, and all of the pictures of black C clamps that match the racks are on the internet. The racks cannot be "locked" into place because they are adjustable. Once you've got them where you want them, tighten a hex bolt into the side of the cross bar, which simply digs into the metal to keep it in place. So be careful not to overtighten it or the cross bar will buckle. br>br>I'm not sure if it's due to the bed liner or the clamps, but they didn't feel very secure at first. To put it another way, I was ratcheting down the bolts/tightening the clamps until there was a lot of resistance, as if the clamps were firmly in place. I could still wiggle them around, though. I had to tighten them to the point where the metal of the truck bed was potentially being damaged. They look fantastic. br>br> Installing them was a breeze. When purchasing a rack for $200, however, you must make some compromises. So far, I've been satisfied with my purchase. I haven't yet loaded my canoe onto the racks, so that will be the ultimate test!.
It's very simple to put together and install. The rack was sturdy, and once it was secured with the c-clamp, it felt even more so. It didn't feel like the clamps were going to move. It's held up well to my use so far, which isn't particularly strenuous, but I think it's a great option.
I got them quickly and they were in great shape. The company had the unfortune of being burgled and losing 20 of inventory of which the clamps were part of. The clamps arrived after a few weeks. They did, however, include a set of ties in their package. With the racks, you get a free down. Overall, they look fantastic and are extremely durable. It only took 30 minutes to complete the installation. If you don't want to use the clamps, the racks also include a bolt kit. Mine is for hauling lumber, which is what I do with it.
I used these to make a Kayak trailer. It really works.
This rack is a waste of time. It is insecure and unsafe because it does not connect properly. INACCURATE. It's not powder coated and it's very cheap. China is the source of this product. I would never purchase anything from this seller again.
It satisfies my needs. The clamps are large and powerful. I'm glad I'm doing my job. Drilling was not something I wanted to do. br>br>The rack was just wide enough for my 1994 Mazda B3000 (shown). I'm not sure anyone would want a smaller bed than mine these days! With the extension, it could definitely fit larger beds. br>br>Although I received the clamps late, the seller's communication was excellent. Additionally, it appears that the Post Office was to blame for a further delay. The P. The item was repackaged. But, oh well. and everything is in order.
I like the product because it is very sturdy, easy to install without drilling holes in your truck, and has a tie-down system. Downs can be extremely beneficial. My only gripe is that the finish isn't as durable as it should be, and the weld joints began to rust almost immediately. The overall finish is chalking and does not stand up to UV light well.
