Questions & Answers
You need to drill 6 holes in the side of the van to mount them. I don't know if your side of the van is the same, but I feel I should be able to do this.
There is no exception to this rule. There's no limit to how you can use it.

The compact extension ladder was attached to the exterior of a 16' cargo trailer with 16" center steel studs held in place with self-tapping sheet metal screws #12 1". This note applies In order to mount, the top protector caps must be put on, otherwise it will be impossible to mount since the bracket will be up against the wall. Padlocks were included, but I threw away the padlocks due to their low quality. Two bungee cables were included, but I did not use them.
For the purpose of holding the weight of a 10'6" brake, I added stainless through bolts of 1/4 inch diameter.
It was only the self-tappers that I upgraded. Bolts through bolts were the way to go for me. This ladder is strong enough to hold a 28ft extension ladder and a 16ft 4x6.
A perfect piece of work made with much care.
The trailer is a part of it. This is an easy installation. The quality of the product is good. The end caps I ordered were different than the ones in the picture, but I would still.
This is the best option for enclosed trailers because it is very easy to install.
