For the tool cabinet, an angle was cut out of the angle iron to allow it to slide forward. The angle support had to be removed for the tool box to be mounted. The rest of the wires have been cut away, except for little pipe nipples welded inside for the J-bolt I like how it looks and how sturdy it is I'll be able to haul my canoe easily with this trailer. A second one will be purchased for my work van.

Ladder racks are the best! We absolutely love them. Kayaks are mainly used to take them on the road with us. Besides that, we can use it for many other purposes. After my husband put it on, it took him about an hour. Then, when we are not using it, he hangs it from the ceiling in the garage with hooks. Once we have them on, it is very simple and quick to attach them. The group also had J- Hooks already on the rack are ready for attachment.

My 1996 Chevy Silverado was equipped with this. The trailer is an excellent value for its price, I intend using it to haul a 14 foot canoe and long items that are too long to fit in the bed of my pickup. The fact that I can take it off and on my truck and it's sturdy is appealing to me. Aside from it being constructed near me instead of China, it is also a plus for me. I would have probably upgraded to one of the more rugged racks if I were a contractor hauling really heavy loads.

There are definitely confusing instructions and a poor description of the product in the advertisement. This tool box will not work with a bee tool box. It will save me $10 on shipping and is helpful to know. Your debt to me is huge!.

It was very easy to assemble and install this rack system. This is a heavy duty machine. The only thing I wish for was a better powder coating or a colored paint job. After being in the weather for a long period, the vehicle does show a little rust, but nothing that a can of matte black paint and a can of clear low gloss paint can't This is still an excellent deal.

Unlike other listings, I could not locate a weight capacity listing the comment suggested it was 800 lbs, but it is 500 lbs. My stepside pickup has a little stepside bed and I thought it was a length bed but it is really a width bed. I misread the measurements thinking it would be a length, not a width bed. Despite what they may say, don't be fooled. It will fit a 46 inch wide bed with a little bit of sawzall action, but you will have to pay $35 for return shipping. When an item is that small, you don't need the screws for locking it. Had I known it was only 500 lbs, I would have bought the 800 lb one from Lowes for $160 instead.
