I installed it on my 2016 F150 extended cab, and I don't see why it wouldn't work on a Toyota.br>They have a set screw that allows you to adjust the width.
Except for the Honda Ridgeline, it will fit most trucks. If you get it with the clamps, it's more of a universal solution.
I'm not sure what a Colorado's exact dimensions are, but the rack has a set screw in the middle that allows it to be adjusted to almost any size.

The ability to use the C clamps for 'temporary' use on my truck was one of the main reasons I chose this model. I figured I could put it on my truck when I needed it, but when I wasn't using it on the truck, I could put it on my utility trailer. br> C clamps were used to make a temporary installation. br>br>However, after reading other posts in advance, I decided to drill into my truck and permanently install this rack. I'm glad I took the opportunity to do so. This rack is incredibly sturdy and will serve you well. It looks good up there, and if I need to transport the dirt bikes, I can simply unscrew a couple of hex nuts and the 'top rail' comes right off, allowing me to roll the bikes right through. br>br>I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
I was looking for a rack that I could put on and take off without having to drill holes in it. Leaning forward over the cab, you can carry long items. I began my search with aluminum racks, but was turned off by reports of more frequent joint cracks. Steel was the material of choice because it was less expensive and could be repaired or modified using my MIG welder. br>br>The welds and finish appear to be in excellent condition, with no splatter or sharp edges. I was able to locate the C-. The clamps felt slick on the bracket and would undoubtedly scratch the paint. For the clamp contact points, I used 3m heavy duty anti-skate tape on the bracket and under the truck bed rail. The clamps now have no movement, which should help prevent rusting points. br>br>Note for Ford trucks with aluminum beds. The clamps work fine, but there are rivet heads under the bed rail that could cause the clamp to fail. I drilled a hole just big enough for the rivet head to clear out of a piece of 1/4" thick plywood. The flat clamping surface beneath the rail was provided by this pad.
I needed a way to transport three or four kayaks while still having room for fishing equipment, a cooler, and supplies in my truck. I didn't want anything that required drilling holes in my truck and mounting permanently. It meets or exceeds my expectations at this price. It's simple to put together, install, and take apart, and it includes all of the necessary tools and parts. If you're looking for something to use for work, such as hauling ladders, parts, or building materials, this isn't it, but you're fooling yourself if you think it'll be 149 bucks. It serves its purpose admirably, in my opinion.
We bought these racks so that we could tow our camper while carrying our kayaks. I looked at a lot of similar racks and was usually put off by the price, but AA came up with a set of racks that far surpassed our expectations. The construction of these racks is simple but of high quality. They are well-packaged and finished, right down to the clamps and hardware. They take about 15 minutes to install or remove once they've been customized for your vehicle. This purchase has been a great success for us.
Unfortunately, one gets what one pays for. The welds are sloppy, and my rack was already damaged when I received it. When you're finished, they give you four inexpensive plastic caps to use on the top pipes. Because the pipes aren't round, two of them have already broken while attempting to install them. I believe it will perform as intended, but I doubt it will last more than a year or two before it requires replacement.
This was purchased for the purpose of transporting three kayaks on a long road trip. I like that there are no bolt holes in the bed rails with this system. Everything went according to plan and without a hitch. I did have to check and retighten the C clamps on a few occasions, but we had driven thousands of miles. As a result, I recommend keeping the large Allen wrench that came with your truck in your truck. This has not been a problem on shorter trips. I'm very happy with the product, especially since it was hundreds of dollars less expensive than alternatives.
I needed it because I needed to buy a 32-foot ladder, and there's no way to transport one without a rack (even with my Turkk). My ladder is strapped to the rack, as you can see in the picture. Despite the fact that the clamps are holding the rack to the truck, I intend to mount it with the hardware. It appeals to me and appears to be of excellent quality.
I purchased the racks in order to be able to load and unload them from the truck. It takes about 25 minutes to fit them correctly to your truck for the first time out of the box. It takes me about 10 minutes now to carry the following items onto the racks. 28'ext. 2 x 10ft ladder Kayaks and ten two-by-ten-by-twelve-foot-by-twelve-foot-by-twelve-foot-by-t If you are a casual user who is not trying to load the entire lumber yard onto your truck, this rack system will work for you.
