A small amount of torque enables these clamps to lock in tight, so the lock washers are not necessary. I used to have clamps that kept coming off, but these work with no movement at all and are very secure.
The do a great job
Since I have a Chevy, I'm not sure if they differ by model or make, but they are very generic and seem to have no relation to a vehicle's specific In order to clamp the rails of the tonneau cover to the sides of the truck bed, they are tightened down. As long as there is a lip hanging down, they should be able to clamp to it.

My 2020 Silverado comes with a Roll up Tonneau from Gator. This is a wonderful I was cursing and throwing things at one point due to the clamps it came with. The clamps are literally the baddest design I've ever seen. The new ones work much better and are SO much more appealing. It is best to buy.
In the review, I hope I have helped a fellow BakFlip owner replace some clamps with a reasonable cost. My low profile /flush mount cover on my Tundra is missing a clamp or two When it comes to these kinds of things, I always go for more. The clamps are slightly different from what originally came with the kit, but they work beautifully. I don't know how else to describe it. Due to the fact that the "cover track" mounting bracket is lower than the steel on my bed rail, I had to push the clamps backward so the bolt heads face the wall of the Although I had to use an open ended wrench instead of a socket to tighten the bolt, this is how you can utilize the notches on the clamp in order The process might sound complicated, but it was straightforward The first one was taken The clamps need to be applied for two minutes each. The teeth of the clamp aren't perfectly aligned with the grooves of the BakFlip rail, but they are very I don't care what it is, once the bolts are tightened it won't matter. There's no way it can go wrong.
In an effort to support a small business, I bought a Access brand tonneau cover. I wish I would have gotten a Truxedo, but he would not My Access clamps will be replaced by these, as they are more durable. Like just about everything about the Truxedo line, little details like these clamps are above and beyond what other companies can This set of clamps must be purchased if you are using any other brand of tonneau cover. Truxedo has always been my go-to brand, but I didn't realize how much better their products were until I had a comparison with a competitor's product. I gave up getting covers from other brands after that. Whether you need to replace damaged clamps, or a garbage design because like me, you didn't begin with a Truxedo, these are the clamps that will get you going and make you glad that you didn't give up earlier.
It is easy to install and stays in place. If you were struggling with the stock clamps that came with your cover, these clamps may seem like a little too high, but if you've been having problems, these are what you need. I'm glad to inform you that the clamps DO NOT LOOSE MOTION when you turn the wrench to tighten them down. It takes up exactly the same amount of space where you put it, in the orientation you put it Please don't hesitate to contact us. This is a great deal. Your life will be so much easier after getting rid of those other clamps! I say cheers!.
My Tonneau cover was installed with these clamps. The clamps provided by the factory were of low quality and would break or not hold the cover on well. I had read multiple reviews that said this. Having ordered these clamps, they were installed in place of the factory-supplied I am very pleased with how they turned out.
I replaced them with these and I am SOOO happy with them. It holds the rails up so you don't fall It is also easier to get to the bolt to install.
bought a used BacFlip tonneau cover for my Dodge Ram 1500 for $175, and it came with only These are the ones I found after pricing them out on BacFlip. I used them for my cover and they worked perfectly.
In the past, original clamps would come loose once a month. This clamp is so tight it won't come loose within the next few months. It is not worth the money to get Gater clamps! They are cheap, low quality, and heavy duty.
