Without disassembling it would be difficult to know the OEM dimensions, but you might want to do so as I had to drill out the center mounting hole on my LEER shell (on my RAM 1500 Quad Cab, 6'4" bed) by 11/16th's to accommodate mounting the Also, I ended up using the back mount from the old latches because I was too lazy to trim the plastic flange of the new latches so it was flush with the back plate. It's that simple).
I installed the direct fit on my camper shell in about five minutes and it I have updated. Dropped from a high of 5 stars to a low of The lock on one of the doors has already broken. I can't lock it, and I haven't been able to unlock it either. I think that the dust cover or something else has broken off and gone into the lock which is preventing the key from going.
In case of a flip up camper shell rear door, you will The handles rotate from left to right and you have a second T-shaped handle The left side to the right. We received only these that rotated left to right, which in turn means that one handle is horizontal and the other vertical when locked. As shown in the kit, I also did not receive the mounting gasket.

The truck cap holes had to be modified by modifying the holes on the truck. The covers were one thing I enjoyed having. As long as it protects them from the elements and car washes, I was happy. When the car was washed for the first time, one side has now been removed.
There's a T on the T As far as the handles fit, I did have to drill out the toppers a little to accommodate the mounting holes. Lock knobs are easy to use, and I like that the rubber covers keep dirt from getting into the cylinders.
This is a great product. I would recommend it. The installation process is simple and easy. It was complete with dust covers plus all the parts. There were no problems with the keys or the moving parts. I was surprised at how well it went. It would be a good idea for those who have truck caps to change their T handle locks.
In my application, I needed handles that turn to the right and those that turn to the left. The handles are great because they are both turned to the right, but I needed both to turn to the left. The latch on one side comes out from the bottom up, but otherwise it works fine. Another option would be to place one handle vertically and the other horizontally.
