I suggest referring to the copper wiring as Randy62b. Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope it'll be of help to you.
There are two posts about 2" apart on the brake/turn signal lights that go thru a bracket on the trailer and attached with two nuts. There are two holes on the cleanse lights so that you attach them with two screws.
stainless steel is not used for the bolts in the lights and the rest of the hardware. Buying this game for this price was not an option for me. Using salt water will rust the hardware to a mess, as I experienced with my last set.
The answer is yes, We have been testing this trailer light kit for months now

I bought this kit to use on The light materials appear to be OK, but as others have pointed out in the wiring, the white ground wire appears to be quite short. Also, the package had only one of the four screws shown in the image, which I assume are for mounting the sidelights. A second thing that I did not like and was not aware of is that the license plate bracket is made of plastic, so it will snap off if it hits anything. The metal was labeled as corrosion resistant, which it is technically, but I would prefer some type of metal which is corrosion resistant, so that it has the ability to flex ship anything struck by As a whole, I am happy with the purchase and everything worked great after I set it up according to There is no doubt that the lights are bright, and I like how circular they are.
I was impressed with the kit's delivery, it came a few days early (I love it), it was well packaged and it was undamaged. I like how the dual LED setup for tail light and stop light is configured so quickly and easily. The LEDs on the side of the markers are bright and attractive. The purchase as a whole was a good one. The wiring could have been a bit more substantial, but that's the only complaint I have. The rest of my complaints have been unfounded.
I chose LED lighting for the taillight of our new trailer since one of the taillights was already out. In order to create a good, reliable circuit, I ran ground wires to each light. A boat trailer is prone to getting wet, and as a result, its connectors corrode. That's a bad thing for the The connectors used for assembling the circuit were heat shrink/solder type connectors. They need to be put together using a heat gun with a reflector. I am satisfied with how well they work. Time will tell if these lights and connectors prove to be a good investment in the long run, but so far, I am pleased with them.
It was a lot of work, but I believe this set of trailer lights will ultimately prove to be useful. I advise anyone to throw away the quick-fix kit Wire nuts should be used for all connections instead of "connectors". Keep the trailer frame grounded at all times and be sure lights are connected to it! The best way to achieve an adequate ground was to use a piece of solid wire. There was no way to make the stranded wire work. (Especially the side running lights) were very dim ) were quite As long as you follow these recommendations, this is an okay set of lights for the price. We only gave it four stars for water resistance because we haven't had time to test it yet.
In addition, the lights are very bright. There is only one thing I can say that needs improvement the white ground wire could be Short, only having about a foot of length, so it decided to be spliced on.
There is a license plate holder out there to be feared. A hard, brittle plastic is used in making the item. A plate mount on the trailer sheered after the plate was installed, and we were forced to buy a new plate and holder with the trailer. Therefore, this is not something I would recommend solely based on that. The cost of replacing the plates and holders is greater than the cost of the lights.
It doesn't matter what brand the lights are made by. The grounding has to be done properly. A very tight connection must be made with the connectors provided or else the connectors will not work. Additional clips could also be added to allow adjustments to be made during In my case, I didn't have to connect the female socket wires to my vehicle, so I cannot comment on that point.
It appears that the lights are of good quality and are There have not been any leaks since they were installed, but they have not been set up long enough to determine long-term water resistance. A really cool circular pattern with a lot of brightness. I received a kit that included all parts I needed. Overall, a good set for the price. The wiring appears more light weight than heavy duty, but it nevertheless worked flawlessly.
