I had to adapt a board in order to use it for transmission, but it was strong enough for the task. I found this to be very useful.

What it is is more than just a piece of trash. Here are two things people complain about first, the "pad" or jaws. The space is too small to pull anything out with success and safety. In order to remove the transmission from a Lincoln Aviator, everything had to rest on one of the tips, so of course the pan was dingy. For that to not be a repeat of the other, I opted to cut off the corners at 2 opposite ends. This greatly improved the stability, since the tranny pan was able to rest on two of the arms at a time. Its main problem is nothing more than that. A 130-watt power supply was swapped for Transmission weighing 150 pounds (empty going out, full going in) is sitting a good five feet away from the frame The angle of the axes is 10 degrees. In addition, it started leaking hydraulic fluid everywhere as soon as it reached the top with the new one, so the transmission lowered. It was lucky that a friend was able to help me build it I had just enough time to fit a second jack under it. There was no way to receive information with such a weak signal. It would not be a good idea to put a heavy transmission on it. I predict disaster when it comes to this project. Why does every other model cost less than 250 dollars? The cost is $300. In this case, there is a chain and places for straps, and it is likely to be a lot heavier duty.
All we have to do is After assembling, I was surprised at how well it worked. As far as I was concerned, the cradle isn't adjustable, so I was concerned I wouldn't be able to line up the transmission. My race car, however, had a Ford C4 that was easy to install. While this transmission may be lighter than your average street car trans, it still may be a bit heavy.
It's a nice jack for the price. It lifts 75 1/2 inches, however, it takes about 100 pumps to get it there. My first step was to weld two chain links onto the cradle so that I could strap down the Tranny.
With less than 10 pumps, the hydraulic piston popped, the seal on the piston was damaged, and fluid spilled all over my workshop My manual M21 has never even been lowered. In order to return the boat anchor, I must do so now. It is obvious that I would not recommend this.
Good price and good quality. You have to pump long and hard to get it from the bottom to the top.
It was a good experience.
Great value for your money!.
