I started building the jack and ran into a number of issues. Here are some examples There are nut bags (bolts and nuts) inside the bags of hardware. The included parts list did not match those on the instruction page and in some cases, the instructions did not match the needed parts. Here are some examples The nuts for the casters were not included, the bolts needed to attach the wheel stands weren't included but did match the instructions, parts were included that weren't specified in the instructions, the print quality of the instruction diagram was very poor, with some areas fading to blank This is the product description page from Amazon that I arranged using the pictures. A few extra nuts and washers were available since I had four nuts and one wing nut left over. There is a possibility that someone included nuts and bolts for a different model of a similar jack since the parts none matched the parts list. With regards to the sellers, I did not hear back until a few days after I had fixed I suppose it is fair to say that the holiday weekend took place As part of their response, they stated While the instructions are a little challenging to read, you get what you need out of them. More than 200 of these units have been sold this year and no complaints have been received in regards to defective It did offer me a phone number in case I needed any additional support.
My first impressions are that the jack appears to be well made, however I hope that other customers have a better experience with the assembly process, as they claim.
My goal is to do side projects at home with this device. It is my profession to repair transmissions. It is worth noting that I attempted to jack up the saddle after I assembled it with terrible instructions. In five minutes of pumping, it got to a height of maybe five As a result, operations are risky since the base is not level. Even though it is a Chinese knock-off, it does not pose any safety risks.
Despite the fact that I leak, I have used about 20 different transmission jacks in the past, and most leak, regardless of the price. The handle moves around and is unreliable. It takes time to become accustomed to the release handle as well. It is still a good option for an at home service shop, but for the price. Over the past year, I have been using the app once or twice a week.
We request that you not purchase. The third time I used it, it broke all of an sudden. Using this tool, my husband dropped a transmission on himself, sending him to the hospital with cuts and bruises. It could have been much worse for him. It would be much better if you invested in something better. There is no way I would recommend this. You should be careful when you buy!.
Sad to say, but I was extremely disappointed in this product. Had the lowering valve trued on a lathe after removing it. Oversize seals were installed and the leak was repaired. The leak appears to be coming from the base of the cylinder. That's just junk. It is not a product I would recommend.
I have half of it put together in my garage because it didn't come with any bolts or directions. As a single mother, I was doing a transmission drop for my 16 year old son's first car, he has his car hanging in the air for two months now, so we'll have to find a different way to lower the.
The pros are I like the way you put it A simple assembly is required. This is a tall tree. Keeping your hands free is very important. The cons are
The only problem is that one of the legs is crooked, so all four wheels will not touch the ground. It is useless to use chains and angle irons, since they only impede progress. There is something very touchy about the release handle. It's hard to steady the transmission and reach down to grab the.
I found it to be easy to assemble, the instructions were in rough shape as was the package, but it wasn't a big deal since it's essentially a no brainer I am pleased that everything appears to work as expected so at this time, I recommend the product.
