Questions & Answers

Could the whole thing be reset (reduced back to its original height) with a single click?

I'm your neighbor. Your post sounds like an introduction to the Internet. Once upon a time, we were all like that. By putting the handle over the operating valve, you control the piston action, which depends on whether the valve is open. You should pump after closing the pump with a clockwise twist. As the piston goes up, it rises. Open by twisting counterclockwise. As soon as you do, the piston retracts. As long as the piston is able to retract due to sufficient weight on it or if a spring is present. Using the large screw in the top, you can adjust it In the event that you lift your car after using this unit, remember that the lifting mechanism is not dependable enough for you to reach underneath the vehicle. There must be jack stands and the car must not move while mounting the stands. In other words, you're going to need an emergency brake set and wheel chocks. Please forgive me if I made too much of the details or described things you already understood. My neighbor and I are just trying to help each other out. The Ron

2500 pounds is the weight of the car. When you do a brake job, can you lift one corner of the vehicle?

I would not trust my car being held up by a jack while I worked on it. You need to block it up or put it on a jack stand. I wouldn't trust the jack to hold my car up while I worked Lifting it is all you need to do.

Are you able to use this ?

Even though a dual chamber theory of operation does not prevent it from working in a horizontal position, it does not inherently prevent it. If the pump was lying on its side, it was going to be a question of whether there would be enough oil available continuously. It may be possible to use the pump with the jack handle oriented one way, but not the other way. In this case, you will have to experiment to see if it will work in the configuration you desire. To begin with, make sure all the oil has been poured into the jack. Overfilling them is not a good idea. If you plan to use it facing the way you want to use it, use the oil while it is facing the way you want it to face. It could be the difference between success and failure. Having trouble using one of the jacks in a horizontal orientation? I suggest you first go to Walmart or Harbor Freight and try a couple of them out before you purchase one. Orient it exactly how you need to use it and try it out. Playing with one of those cheap Chinese bottle jacks is the same as playing with another since they are all virtually the same. I would appreciate hearing how the results turned out. Good luck with orienting it on its side! I am curious to see if it works.

Would it be possible to mount something to the top?

This TORRIN BOTTLE JACK currently has a top mounted, but can it be mounted again with hot, electric welding? I'm sorry*. It is certain to NEVER be done with Electricity, or Hot Welding of any kind! It's easy to ruin the Jack instantly if you burn it. The seal has been broken.

3/5

I bought this because it seemed lightweight, easy to carry, and affordable. (I even bought two, for my wife. )'The first issue is that it cannot lift the car high enough to and put a stand underneath. A & B When it is standing, it is almost too tall to fit under the car before it has been lifted. In fact, I got a smaller jack as well! It is not a lowrider, but a normal four door car. FYI, I cleaned the file system completely and tested it thoroughly before attempting to use it. Ok, I have attempted to use it now When I finally realized it wasn't going to be able to raise the car high enough for the jack stands to pass under (by a penny) It was too high for me, so I lowered 2 inches), but it was still too high You need a real jack from autozone now, so take it out. As I lowered the jack, it did not go all the way down so it could be removed completely. As I said, I loosened the knob - It was spewing oil to the point where it started to leak! We couldn't remove it due to the wedge still being there, and it was elevated by 1/2" too high for us to reach. I had to force it to release all its air and let go in order for the dang thing to finally come loose after "safely" wiggling it with force. Buying this dangerous product will cost you more money, so spend it wisely The real deal is to get a Here are some pictures of our trip, I'll upload them later -.

The first time I used it, it broke! I had to use this jack for the very first time and When I jacked up my car once with it, I realized I needed After that I released the valve so that the card would fall
3/5

The valve was re-set, and I inserted a new one As you positioned the jack, you There would be no way to do it. When cranking the handle, there was no resistance. My first attempt at adjusting the bottle jack valve took a good 10 minutes, as I assumed I was doing something wrong (even though this isn't my first time using one). I tried to get it to work, but was unable to do so. Eventually, I used the bottle jack on my other car, which was manufactured by a different company - I was able to use it successfully without any problems. I have used it several times before with no problems. It seems to me that either this product I bought was faulty, or that it is just a very poorly-made item. Custom designed for you The time has slipped away I have some advice for you, dear shoppers This product is not a good option. Find an alternative instead!.

This is one of the cheapest bottle jacks around
4/5

I love how easy it is to use, and it works as advertised. Make sure you follow the set up instructions and be sure to bleed out the air first before you use this set. It is a great set for the price and works well. Only constraint is that you are going to have to put some pressure on the top to get the jack back down. The simplest way is to do that. You can't always get it down by pulling from the sides. It should be a little smoother when retraction is engaged, especially when the bolt is unscrewed far enough to fully engage.

It appears to be good for the price
4/5

I believe it was a good The item was returned to me, though. Because I am disabled, it would be extremely difficult for me to jack up the car on the side of the road if I had a flat. I am looking to get an alternative to the scizzor jacks that come with vehicles, since I own a Honda CRV and there is no way I can use one on my own. Despite the fact that AAA is an option for me, We do a lot of travelling in the mountains so in a sense, " you never know ". Despite the short space under my vehicle, it's not easy for me to place this jack safely. The quality of the product aside, I was happily surprised at the price for what I got. I've read other reviews that say it leaks or is You're not paying top dollar for it and it's worth it. If you want something, then pay for it. Even though I am not a doctor I would buy this if I could use it The price was reasonable, the quality was similar, and the work was satisfactory.

We have a leaky oil system
3/5

One of these jacks leaked oil after it was opened, and the other was not. There was oil all over the inside of the box and the jack was literally oozing The jack would only extend about three inches when I tried to use it. One out of two is not a good average, since the other jack is as described and seems to work fine. Shipping was too costly for me to return it. Two of the jacks worked, one of which was functional. am a mechanic who does a lot of mechanical work and I would not recommend However, this time was not my favorite. Amazon purchases have always been great for me, but sometimes things just.

Is Not Remarkably Good, But It Works
3/5

This is a cheap and easy way to get a haircut Doesn't have a wide range of applications. Pumping is an effort to move that cylinder up much and the controls are stiff. As well as being quite large for its capacity, it also is quite heavy The range is. It was broken, leaking oil, and it clearly had been returned as defective, only to be shipped to me again. Customer service is absolutely terrible, and there is absolutely no way to get a hold of them Amazon failed to do its part in fulfilling this order. They scrimped and saved on logistics. Returning the bright red creature was a good thing.

I was sent the first one and it was garbage, but I am using the second one sent by Amazon
4/5

This was a special order as they do not normally make jacks this small they are typically 1 or 2 inches taller, which will not fit in The jack will be used as a jack on a tractor trailer for my dirt bike, which requires a smaller jack. However, the second jack works fine. The first jack did not work, but it is not working at all for the first jack.

Here is an incredibly easy way to LEVEL a sidewalk! Thanks for your kind words, Tiny Jack! In my headline I think I mentioned everything, but I will elaborate on a few points
5/5

For instance, imagine a sidewalk that has sunken very deeply into the ground on one side, causing the path to be very uneven. The first thing to do is I recommend you buy these. Per sidewalk edge you would like lifted, you will need 1. In the second place The sunken edge of the sidewalk needs to be dug under and along with. The 2 Ton Bottle Jacks are so miniature you won't have to dig very deep to find them. Lift the concrete using the jacks, then place the jacks. Please note Under the concrete, you will be leaving a gap. In order to fill in the void from the now-EVEN concrete sidewalk or slab, it is a good idea to buy a few bags of cheap concrete or gravel. As far as I am concerned, this works well!.
