An indication of the lift height. A 14-inch to 32-inch range is available with the 43006 (SUV). A range of 68" is possible with the 43002, and a range of 11" with the 43002. The height is 22 inches. 7" in height. When working on trucks and SUVs, that additional 4 inches can really make a difference.
When they are set to the highest setting, they measure about 21 inches above the floor.
They would work as long as the car is jack-able to a high enough level to clear the stands. The problem is having a jack that can raise high enough to clear them. The car cannot be lifted onto stands with a jack that is 2 1/2" too short once fully extended. These guys are great - If you want to use your jack, ensure it is capable!
A pair of these can weigh up to 3 tons (6,000 lbs). They are each 1 each. It weighs 5 tons (3000 lbs). Do not believe any people who claim that the strength rating applies to each jack stand. Jack stands are sold in pairs, and the strength rating applies to the pair (when using two at one

When I used my 3 ton stands at the highest setting, I could barely keep my truck's tires off the ground. My personal preference is to use the lowest setting as I found that the highest These did not cause me any problems. The height adjustment on my truck only needs to be used half the way to adjust so that it's at the height As a side benefit, these stands helped keep my Ridgeline in the air for 3 days without any issues. Also, these stands were a less expensive option than 6 ton stands, which would have been overkill.
The reason I purchased these jack stands was that I have a lifted truck (2010 Toyota Tacoma) and I needed to find a stand that was a little higher than It does exactly what it is supposed to do, with the only reason for 4 stars being that there are metal tabs on the stands that you need to bend inward to engage the jack and not let it extend all the way from The tab, however, is made of steel and is extremely difficult to bend by your average mechanic and homeowner.
A must have for SUV owners and truckers, too. This is a great jack stand for the price and has recently been Having purchased the first set in 2016 and finding the welds questionable, I just purchased a second set at the end of 2020 and noticed the welds are much better. If you have an SUV or truck in the 2500 series, these are a MUST. The price is very reasonable and the quality is excellent.
The jack set is easy to put together and is very good. These jacks make it easy for me to crawl underneath my jeep when I put it on them. The reviews I read mentioned that it was necessary to hammer a tab into the box. You can do this if you want, or you can leave it as is. There were complaints about the welds from another couple. I will answer your question as follows Whether it will affect the functionality of the stand (no) or the appearance of the stand (maybe). You should re-evaluate your employees if they are truly that concerned The metal is welded together.
I have used them on several SUVs and have never encountered a problem with them. The stand ( or weld points) are solid and there are no visible weak spots.
The 3 tom double locking version of this stand I already have isn't tall enough for what I'm looking for, so I decided to get the hight version of the stand. Due to the extra height on these, they're well suited to their intended use, such as in SUVs and large There will be a bit of a difference between what was pictured and what you received. As you can see in the picture, it shows a saddle that is a bit different from the usual stands. However, the saddle on the item is the same as on It is shown in the picture that one of the pictures is flatter while the others are curved. Although this is not a big issue, it does seem a bit disappointing since the style of the image would be better suited to the larger vehicles. In addition, I would like to have a double locking feature on these, but it is not available in this Some people claim these stands are leaking because of the welds. Despite the fact that some of the welds look sloppy, there seem to be no gaps or pitting that would compromise the reliability of the welds. also use a pair of the 6 ton versions along with these, using the 6 ton ones on the front of the truck and these at the back, as the engine carries more weight. The 6 ton versions are used in front of the truck and these at the back. Since I'm able to operate the 6 ton stands with just one ratchet notch raised, and these with 3 notches raised, I don't have to worry about overextend. You may want to check out these stands if you have a large SUV or truck.
It was handy to use this over the holiday weekend to change the oil in the car. I have to say that the jack stands are quite heavy-duty. The reason I warn people in the headline to be careful is that when I raised the black bar it slipped and ended up landing on my finger, reducing me to an infant crying The pain inflicted by this object was, as its weight indicates, a lot more than a simple suppose it would have been nice if they had a safety mechanism to catch each groove as it descended. This situation might have been avoided if the ones with the dual locking pins had been there. The pros of this tool consist of the fact that despite its heavy dutyness, it held up my sedan very well, which is one of the most important features of it.
Since I am not as concerned about a scratch or ding on my jack stand as some of the other reviewers, I ordered four of them "open box. " I checked all 4 when they arrived and they all appeared to be fine with the exception of one of them with a small pen mark under the weld, but not affecting the penetration. These will only be used for cosmetic purposes, so no big deal unless the photographer intends to use them to illustrate their product. I can use them with my PowerWagon and Jeep without a problem.
The jack stands provide the shade tree or professional mechanic with exactly what they need to give themselves a better chance of not being injured or worse when they work A car or a truck cannot be held up with wood, concrete, etc, that is all wrong! I love them and plan on using them religiously!
They are well built, heavy, properly welded, and have a great ratcheting mechanism. *
They are perfect and well worth buying.
Thank you
