Questions & Answers

What is the fit for the Torin 32002E 2-outlet engine hoist How many tons)?

Buying these two items together is safe, as they work perfectly as a set. You need to keep in mind that the engine hoist has a much higher capacity. The engine leveler is only capable of lifting 1500lbs

Do you believe that this will work with the Pittsburgh 2 ton enginehoist?

There is no reason why it shouldn't be done. The chain is used in place of a bolt that would attach to the motor. The fact that you can tilt the motor if it's necessary is great.

A circle with a diameter of what is used for an L bracket?

Each hole is half an inch in diameter

Does it happen in a factory?

It is Chinese. Despite its cheap nature, there is a screw holding the leveler knob onto the engine which can come loose, but it can still be used with a wrench to level the

An engine puller who is first time This was a magical experience for me
5/5

Then read on! It was my first time pulling an engine, so I watched a ton of youtube videos. Most guidance said that a leveler was a must. I saw some at $50 on Amazon, then this one came across my screen for In less than a half hour after everything was disconnected, my son and I were able to remove the motor on our own. Some mention handling problems - However, they appear to be minor. You can see a time lapse here. I grind off the handle after removing it for a brief period. Do not place it at an angle toward the hoist like I did, as the short lift chain hitting the lift arm at that angle will result in the chain hitting the hoist. That was my error, so instead of lowering the motor, I just cut the handle off. On the other end of the leveler there is a large nut. We simply used a socket to tighten it. The price is the most important, so who cares what the handle looks like?

With the price, I was mostly concerned about whether or not it was The 389 SBF is placed in a 90 degree C4 tranny, therefore 750 pounds is the most likely estimate. We had absolutely no problems with the process, and it looked great during the whole thing. Additionally, if you glance at the time lapse, plenty of angles were created to allow the removal to be very straightforward.

Exactly what it should be
4/5

The video was good for the price. If I was going to give it 2 stars, I would give it a 4. A temporary handle would be a great improvement if I could make one change. Depending on how tight the angle is, it may interfere with the view. I also noticed that the guide pin seemed a bit loose, but had no problem. My bottom line is that it was a good purchase, and I wouldn't consider going back to the Comet.

I found it to be very effective
5/5

This was used to pull a vintage small block V8 engine. would not use it with a large engine block, not even if you attached the transmission to it. In the end, it did the job it was meant to do. As for other reviewers who stated which was the case, they were cutting off the handle crank on the other end and using a socket wrench instead. A portion of the crank shaft is blocked by the chains at certain angles. Metal tabs for bolting to the block or lifting plate are a bit thin (again, may not employ this for a large block), but you can always put a bolt through a chain link to reinforce the fastening. Overall, I thought the product was a great value, and I found the process to be reliable. The only thing you may want to get between this and your hoist is a swivel if you think you'll need to rotate the engine 180 degrees (like to load it in a truck).

As expected, it works
5/5

Bargan is good. Pulling an engine out of a Ford Ranger was accomplished using this tool. I was very pleased with the results. There is a problem with the handle knob, as described in one of the reviews. As you can see, it was done that way so that the packaging would fit in it. I just have to rotate the knob for a minute, and it is just as easy as that. Even with the weight of a 4cyl engine on the tilt crank, it did not bind. Although the bolting chains with brackets are okay, they can sometimes get in the way. Some bolts cannot fit into some of the holes due to their size, and others cannot be used due to their angle. I ended up adding clevis hooks to two of the chains and installed them Apparently some engines already come with lifting hardware, and all that is needed is a hook for hook-up It is easier to bolt these up than to screw them up. To find out what something is, you have to think about it. Overall, it was useful and made completing the task easier than it would have been without its use.

The product is good for the price and it does what it is supposed to do
4/5

The Ford 5 was installed with ease using this guide. 0. 17-liter Coyote engine in a tight engine bay (this item's engine bay was too tight to fit a 2 ton shop lift from Harbor Freight). As a result, it helped tip the engine to its maximum possible position, and allowed my helpers and I to further manipulate it. I was lifting about 600 pounds (engine and truck). Using the crank to tip/level the load has the one disadvantage that the handle on the crank needs to be rotated. There is a sturdy arm on the handle I like the handle, but the knob Phillips head screws are used to attach it to the arm As a result, the lift unscrewed itself several times during my lift to the point that I just turned Getting the arm to rotate without a knob is not easy, but it can be done. Although it is very reasonably priced and durable, it is a tough product.

Definitely useful, but a few improvements need to be made
4/5

My goal was to pull the motor and use it as a tow rope My '68 Cougar is hooked up to a trinity. Although this is a decently built handheld device, you can obviously tell it is made in China. Hobbyists should find this to be plenty tough. Because of the frequency I'm going to use it, I fully expect it to last a very long time. When it comes to professional use, this would not be my top In order to get the assembly out of the car, this unit was necessary. Although, in order to reach appropriate attachment points at the rear of the engine, I had to use additional chains. Also, the knob on the handle comes off easily once you start cranking the engine counter-clockwise. You just have to be aware of it. It's not a big deal, but you have to be aware Ultimately, this device is a great little device. It does exactly what it is supposed to in terms of making engine pulling.

I found it helpful to tilt the motor to level it before taking it out with this tool
5/5

Which then made it easier to remove the motor from a f150. A plastic knob on the crank kept breaking off and separating from the crank . I will drill through it and add a bolt and nut to keep the knob on. Lifting bolts had to be placed through the chain in order for the bolt to stay low to the motor. Well worth the investment in time and money.

I am very happy with this purchase
4/5

This is a great upgrade to my old leveler from Northern Tool. With the adjusting rod that is way more robust and the position on the main bar that is adjustable, this is a great product. There is something I don't like about how loose the main bar is - the red one. The mirror wobbles a great deal, and it is not made from steel square tubes like my older one. It would have been cool to see maybe some steel bushings on the sides to prevent the problem, but that would contradict the fact that the product should have a low cost. In order to fix this issue, I intend to modify this (add bushings). There is the possible risk of an unexpected slip that can stress the parts, possibly resulting in an unexpected failure, although this is The chains are also mounted to the main bar in an unattractive way. main bar has loose shackles, which give it a lot of movement to each side. This is another area where more support would be better so that unexpected slippage and movement are not as likely. * So all in all, the product works well. As far as I can tell, the product's quality is good enough to do what it's intended to do. Since I may use it once a year, I find that reasonable, especially since the price is reasonable. DIYers will find this product great. It will do what is required as well as do it effectively. If you want to go with other brands, spend more, otherwise, this will serve your needs.
