TRP Double Eye Spring (3-Leaf)- 1,000 Lb Capacity - 27 Inch X 1-3/4 Inch - Single

I weigh about 500 pounds at the empty weight of my steel utility trailer (4 by 8 feet with plywood floor and sides). I would load it up with 500 to 1000 pounds of camping/sport gear, and it towed fine, but as soon as it hit a sharp bump it bounced off the ground three It goes 'BANG' This is bang- There's a bang. The gear I have is not suitable There was no flying out, as everything was more or less stowed in its place, but jeez. These are the springs I replaced the originals with. By reversing the bolt and nut in the center of the spring pack, I was able to mount the axle underneath the springs rather than over them, which achieved the same result as installing the axle over the springs. In fact, I grew by a few inches, and if I take the same load over the same bump at the same speed, there is only one bump. It appears as if the suspension now works when towing off road, as before it was as if the trailer had no suspension. Don't forget to do the math! These springs improved the suspension on my trailer significantly because they are the right springs for my trailer. It doesn't matter what their requirements are, they won't be right for others. As described, they are just as they seem. More than that is all you can ask for?.
