No matter how big or small your rear end is, it makes no difference. The hubs on the front end are for the wheels. They are easy to replace if you already have manual hubs. They are also high quality and affordable.

Our 2004 F250 Powerstroke truck was made better with this upgrade. As a result, I find it difficult to keep the factory vacuum hubs in good working order. It is possible for a number of things to fail including a solenoid, seals, etc. These premium hubs are easy to use Now that my 4x4 works, I have a huge difference in my life. After locking the hubs and switching to 4wd in the cab, I tried to take tight turns while in 4wd and experienced the appropriate hop/binding sensation associated with the front and rear axles fighting each other. There's no problem and it has been verified that you are in 4WD. Try not to do this on a pavement as that will not be good for your If you wonder, you should cap off the vac lines at the solenoid under the fender near the vacuum pump located on the passenger side. The vac lines should be plugged in (as they come from the factory) to prevent water and dirt from getting into the system. I'll explain how it's done in a minute. You can leave the hubs locked if it's snowy and/or if you're going to use 4wd frequently for a period of time so you don't have to get out of the cab when switching to 4wd. All I can complain about is that the hubs are a little shorter than the hub caps. My find is that the hub caps on an F150 with factory auto wheels are shorter than the ones on a F350 with factory hubs. I don't see the big deal here. I have posted this image.
See how it is done by watching a few YouTube videos. The truck I drive is a 2001 Ford While I had to search for an Allen wrench, rubber mallet, and needle nose pliers for replacing the two ends, I also had to look for an Allen wrench. I would like to give you one piece of advice. . . Apparently, I didn't need to jack the front end up when I removed my old hubs and tried to install the new ones. Some instructions I read didn't mention anything about jacking up the front end. When I was trying to get the new hubs on, I noticed my axle looked a bit crooked at the point where the hub was trying to push on it. By lifting just a little with a floor jack, I was able to level the vehicle. Despite still being on the ground, the tire was still lying After the axle had been straightened, the hub looked straight again. A new hub was pushed in right away. Do not try to hammer in the new hub! DO NOT HOLD IT UP WITH YOUR HANDS. PUSH IN WHEN IT DO NOT FIT. ANOTHER PROBLEM OTHER THAN A TIGHT FIT DIFFERS FROM A FIT PROBLEM.
The dials are a little hard to turn. You rotate through about 270 degrees while trying to turn them. Nevertheless, the installation was simple and I am glad to know I am locked into 4x4, unless that is to say I am A 2002 F350 containing these was used to haul cattle on a When we beat the crap out of trucks, the OEM hubs always fail, but the Warns are always reliable- We need 4-hour time slots daily, but most importantly, we must have 4-hour time slots every day With the wheel, we get four I can't move!.
I figured I would still use the original car stud covers, so I did not bother to save them. There is a shorter hub for Warn. It only took ten minutes to have both new hubs installed, and everything was working just as it should. I had gone by what an expert told me to do follow the instructions. He was right. It is no longer necessary to protect the studs with covers. Just like old school in the '70s, the studs remain exposed. I am very pleased with the results.
I gave 4 stars because I needed to call for an extra set of snap rings on The two included are not snug enough unless you use the two as they are rather than the one I still found the installation to be very easy, and Warn sent the extra rings at no charge. My truck was a 1999 F350 Super Duty Gas, and I imagine that all super duty pickups sold between 1999 and 2004 would encounter the same issue.
There are still ways to do this that do not require instruction. There's some way to do it. An installation warning can be confusing for a first-time user. I've yet to find a better hub compared to these. It's 70s dead in the water at Warn Industries. There is nothing wrong with the hubs, yet the instructions are terrible. It's time for Warn to stop selling a premium hub containing a "cheat sheet", which was When you make the simplest of modifications that you can do to your truck, they serve only to confuse things. The instructions either must NOT be included or the silly paper inside the darn box must be upgraded for the hour that it would take. The end user will lose one star if they rest on their laurels and one star if they disregard their needs.
There was just no way to keep the plastic components A well-built WARN hub like this one is available. Compared to OEM, this is a much heavier duty. My systems were both installed in under 30 minutes, and any regular user should be able to do this. It might be easier to get back out if you bend the retainig ring slightly at the tip just to make it easier to get out. When they are locked you know they are locked and they look wonderful. The only downside is that they're hard to turn since they require almost 360 degrees turning.
I use it on a 2001 Ford F250 with a 7. 3L engine. There are three liters of diesel in the tank. There was no easy way to turn the old auto hub locks, which had cheap plastic internals that were corroded.
Installation was without a hitch, and I had both of them installed in about ten I was able to use them a few times on rough trails over the weekend, and they are solid, turn easily and hold up well. My car locks were unlocked by hand and I drove on the highway as soon as I was back on pavement.
