I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet because I'm waiting for a ball, but it appears to be excellent. I welded this one on top of the bad one, which was only rated for 5K. Welding was a big part of my project. Fortunately, this one is a little larger and fits over the top. This isn't my favorite style of trailer hitch, but it's how the bad one looked. The old jack fits into threaded holes in the new hitch.
It welded up quickly to the trailer I'm building, and it's a great price for the weight it's rated for.
By profession, I'm a welder and fabricator. I'm a trailer builder on the side, and this will be my new go-to hitch. Excellent construction and finish.
It won't be simple to install because you'll have to cut the old one off, grind the welds, and then weld this one on. It's a perfect fit and runs like a charm. What a fantastic purchase!.
It's simple to put together and works well for towing.
It's fantastic!.
