In addition to the shims, uHaul has other ads and sells them at the These are CURT couplings, so they are a standard. The $3, on the other hand, is probably not that important. There is no difference in price because the shims aren't included. It is now up to me to order the shims from another seller and wait for delivery before installing them. Paying the 18 is a must. You can buy the Uhaul at the store for $95 It is worth more for me to put my time into this than It took me a long time to realize that I was saving 00. Having to spend an extra $4 is a hassle. You need to pay the full amount of $49 + shipping in order to complete this order. The problem is. Pay what you want and you will receive what you want. The item you are interested in shouldn't be purchased from this seller.

This is a great product to use with a 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer

The 1-year-old had to be replaced with this I have a folding 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer with a 7/8" tongue. I had to drill new holes through the front of the trailer to mount the Curt hitch because it sat higher than the stock hitch. However, once it was mounted, it worked beautifully.

How do you expect cheap Chinese products to be

There is no problem with it. Doesn't work as well as it should. A small trailer is where I use mine. In many cases, it sticks to itself when removed. The lock down process is not seamless. The best way to find a cheap, high-quality light duty hitch from China is to send.

My trailer coupler has been replaced with a great one

A coupler like this fits onto a 2" x 2" trailer to replace a coupler that broke. Designed to prevent rust and keep the coupler ball tight, this coupler is well made. It is galvanized steel to keep it from rusting. This book is worth the money.

It is as described. I could not have asked for a better fit. I drilled mounting holes in the tongue and mounted it. Simple to do, only takes a few minutes.

The metal is of a good quality. This is an excellent product. There are many thin gauge products available out on the market which are not safe or smart.
