Sounds like a great idea to me. A special emphasis should be placed on going through the different sizes of balls with the pin. The truck has never vibrated loose while pulling a horse trailer and hauling 2 or 3 pallets of turf grass, so I'm not sure where the problem lies. The product is very good.

The truck I drive tows several trailers on a regular basis. This conversion kit was purchased by me It was handy to have a ball (as well as an adjustable drop bar) so I didn't have to carry 20 different combinations of bars and balls. I've mostly been towing one trailer for the last few months. In my case, it wasn't necessary to remove the two For the last few months, I have been using a 5/16" ball. As you can imagine, I was quite surprised when I tried to remove the ball in order to switch to the 2". There is a pin on pin # 2 Five sixteenths of an inch ball will not A penetrating oil, a BFH (very large hammer), and even an open flame propane torch have done the trick. You will NOT be able to remove the ball. This ball has never been removed from my car because I haven't driven for years. There have only been a few months since I moved here. In addition, my ball/bar does not hang from my hitch when I am not towing but was instead tucked under my bumper Keeping it dry in the truck bed of my waterproof truck is important. A product like this is not ready to stand the test of time.
I tried emailing "Convert-a-Product" in a vain attempt to resolve the issue. I sent them a message, but they did not reply. My money was refunded to me by Amazon and the product was replaced by Amazon.

There are three sets that I own, and one of them I have owned since childhood. In the last purchase, the balls were of a poor quality, and it was hard to put them on. Upon first glance, I would guess that the shank slipped through QA and wasn't in spec. It appears that all three balls display the same symptoms, so I believe it must be.
You can swap balls so easily with only a stick or The set can be left in the storage box so that no one can steal it, and you're ready to tow the next trailer after 30 seconds.
The hitch attachments came with my tractor so I could attach them to the trailer. I have moved my 16' car hauler, my 28' camper, and my old utility trailer with them, and so far they have worked well. Although they do not offer high speeds, or super stressful conditions, they do.
For personal use, I had to purchase one of the stainless steel versions we use on our tow trucks at work. Because I move trailers less often when I'm not at work, the nickel-plated version will work just fine for me. However, if you plan to use it a lot, I strongly recommend the stainless version.
Final question Can one hitch mount replace That sounds good to me.

I have purchased a new truck and am very happy with it It is important to have an assortment of trailer balls on hand. You never know what you may encounter in this business, so you need to be prepared for any size.
It was exactly what I needed. In the past, I owned a set very similar to these. This is a fantastic product. It fits, looks and functions as it should. To ensure that the parts stay in working condition, they should be lubricated and/or thoroughly cleaned in a reasonable amount. If you have multiple trailers with different ball sizes and own and use multiple trailers, these are a must-have.
