You can use this with a round blade plug if it is a standard flat blade type.
I answered the same way Hopefully, your ride is equipped with a circular wiring harness connector, so it will fit right in there. In most cases, if you get a towing package, the vehicle is equipped in that way.
As long as you have a 7 pin installed, yes, it can go on any car, regardless of its year or make
It should fit the Chevy if it has the round "flat pin" plug. Plug it in and see what you find Where you see square holes instead of round ones, that indicates there are slots This plug is right there for you.

Due to the fact that my Tacoma only has a 7 pin trailer connector, I bought this adapter so I could use it The pins on this connector are surrounded by too much plastic which makes it difficult to plug anything into it. You have to jam the area with far too much force to make it secure, not a "secure fit" kind of tightness. When the plastic around the plug is too tight, it causes the pins on the plug on the trailer to be forced out of place. This is a very cheaply made product.
I think it is of good quality for the price. I find it to be quite useful. In our opinion, the figment is good enough to retain both male and female connections, and the plug is of a medium quality, not cheap nor outstanding. One cons is that the connections on this device are of medium quality, however, for its price, I can deal with it and get two before I spend what it would cost on a better quality one.
Even half of the plug cannot be inserted due to the difficulty of removing it.
Works perfect, I never have to worry about how to plug in different trailers with different connections in my truck because I have a 4 and 5 pin adapter handy to have. Delivery in a timely manner.
I've got a few trailers and all of them have different hookups. So far it's working well and I appreciate.
used it to hook up a utility trailer to my Avalanche due to how easy it was to install. There were no problems with the turn signals, brake lights, or flashers.
I'm not sure if it works. The plug-in process is easy. I love the option to have an all in one at a good price when I'm in a pinch and I need to use.
According to similar adapters, the plastic mold on the 4 pin adapter on the one I received is too tight. There are several pins on the trailer adapter that are getting pushed back and do not make a good connection because of this. I connect or disconnect it from my computer each time when it is not far off, but it creates problems.
