I had no problems with my 2004 Ford Ranger when I installed it. It may work on the Chevy S10, but I cannot confirm that it will
The answer is yes it is
I did not find that to be the case. You will notice that the ground wire (white) is not run through the four-position connector Connectors are separated, but pin connectors are attached. As you can see in the picture, this is what happens. Honestly, I have no idea why this is happening. It was necessary to find a bolt where a tie-down rod could be attached There was a white wire thathad to be secured (ground to the chassis) in the back of our Honda, and then the trailer lights worked as intended. *br> The four-dimensional model It is not clear to me why this adapter doesn't route the ground via pin 4 of the pin harness installed on the car. That pin is grounded to the chassis so that's why this adapter doesn't route the ground from the fourth pin.
The wiring harness and wiring must be completed correctly. With a brake controller, you can control the speed of the car. To complete the 12v+ and electric brake wires I had to add (2) 25' 10 gauge wires to the wiring harness that shipped with my controller. Without it, the wires are simply a simple flat wire in a 7-pin format.

We installed the Connector over a period of 8 months. I finally found a proportional brake controller that I could afford at a $14 sale. I used the Reese 118136 Mounting Bracket & U-bolt to assemble the unit and it was simple and straightforward * In this case, the long clamp performs as intended after connecting.
This product is not designed to handle a lot of abuse, so mount it in a safe location. However, the wires seem durable and of a decent gauge, and look to be of good For the price, it would be a 5 star unit if the plastic did not feel so brittle.
It was my responsibility to clean up the cobbled mess caused by someone else's negligence. Add heat shrink crimps to the heat shrink crimps to seal the connections. Removed the connectors, holes, and flats from the kit. Looks almost as good as it did when it was new.
I've tested it and it works as intended. Ensure that it is grounded. In order to attach the hitch frame, I used a selftap screw.
This was my first time using the mounting bracket, so I cannot comment on the hardware, but the wiring itself worked perfectly and the connectors were connected flawlessly on both sides. My recommendation would be to try It is a good price.
I couldn't believe how well it fit on my Chevrolet Traverse! Right at home in the fitting room!.
