Can this plug be used to connect a Nissan frontier tow plug?
About a third of the way is where I remember it.
You should be able to connect it if your GMC has a seven pin connector.
As long as the plug in your vehicle is a 7-pin, this adapter will work in any vehicle regardless of make or model

My reviews of this product are intended to serve as a warning to anyone who has or might In the end, it didn't hold up over several months of light use, even after I put them 99% of the time in my trunk. Initially, the quality was poor and the components shifted a lot, but I just needed something cheap and functional. As far as I am aware, mine is not the issue. I left it on my car without the cover for a few days, using it frequently without issue, but then I got into my car in a wet lot while loading up my trunk, and it started smoking heavily and caught fire. Fortunately, I was able to quickly remove the Chinese junk from my SUV and dispose of it in the trash. It is a dangerous product and it is substandard. Buy only if you need it It may be cheap, but it's not worth it.
The product deserves at least five stars.
Our old unit on our Tacoma needed to be replaced with this one. The new unit seems well made and fits perfectly. Fyi, I like to use dielectric grease on my trailer connectors to keep them working for years longer, and prevent the ground pin from being wrenched off as a result of corrosion.
I have been through at least three cheaper versions of these & wish I would have gotten this one from the start.
Pros The rubber is quite thick and sturdy all the way through, so it has a heavy feel to it. There are tinned connectors, so they won't corrode like the brass or copper Connecting with this service feels secure without having to force it. In a way, it feels as though it were made of metal instead of plastic like Harbor Freight knocked offs. - Minor cons As far as I can tell, there is.
For vehicles with towing packages, this is something that should be included in the factory kit. An early-model Volkswagen SUV was given a factory 7 Way plug that could be converted into a 4 Pin port. In light of the fact that most smaller rental trailers use 4 pin connections, this piece is crucial for those who occasionally tow or rent a U-haul trailer in their newer vehicles Usually haul type trailers are used. It is essential to include this piece with vehicles that come with towing packages.
I'm an idiot. It was only a few days later, when I went back into the console to use it again, that I experienced the flashback! Leaving it on the bumper was a good idea! I guess it lies somewhere between here and there. So far, this one has worked just fine for me.
I like that this adapter is nearly half what I paid at Tractor Supply Company for a similar adapter. It is my third such purchase, but why do I feel the need to justify it? The main reason is that it tends to fall out of its socket while being moved otherwise, it's a popular item to steal.
I am working on my third adapter now, this time I used piano wire and semi-silver wire The 7-panel is now permanently attached to it This is the mount on the left (male side) of.
Staying put is no problem for the plug. Although I would buy a couple of these more just so that I can have all my trailer plugs be 7 ways on the trailer and never have to unplug them from the adapter, the metal ground tab looks like it will only last for so many uses before it breaks.
