The 7 way wires worked in that they had a ground wire for your vehicle, and the 4 way wires you are using have a ground wire you should now attach to your vehicle. I can't remember what it looked like, but I know that they worked though.
In a nutshell, Green wires do more than the red ones.
You need to connect the three white wires to any metal of your vehicle by the two white wires with the eye in this 7 way adapter.
My best assumption is that I will not make any errors once I install

This review was written after installation a year ago. In one of the terminals, I saw that there was an incorrect connection. Hence, I tried pushing the wires in the direction of the connector in order to pull out the connectors. To push the wires into the adaptor, a screw is located on the bottom of the adaptor that locks the wires in place and must be loosen to allow the wires to be inserted. There was no way to remove that screw because it was completely rusted. To prevent this, I came up with a way to force the wires into the adaptor and pull the connectors out. It was fully rusted on two screws which connect the blue and white wires. A metal cutter wheel was required to remove the old screws and replace them with new screws. Water gets into the adaptor through a small opening under the adaptor, which is why it has rusted. (1) The screws are not made of a material which doesn't rust. (2) The adaptor was not installed correctly. In order to prevent water from entering my adaptor, I sealed the openings completely with silicon sealer.
I hope this helps someone out. I had a hell of a time with that car. You can plug in this 4-way add-on and begin using it right away. On the controller, the lights are blue to blue, but no fuse exists. The black wire leads to the battery, and the 40 amp fuse serves as the ground. There is white on the The yellow goes to the reverse light (if you have new style trailer brakes, they lose power when you reverse, the yellow bypasses the brakes if you don't have brakes or old style, I didn't use the yellow) plug in the There is a red wire on the controller that connects to a white wire with black on it (at least for my truck). The white wire is a four-pin wire that plugs into the In the controller, the black area gets a 30 amp fuse and goes to the positive terminal of the battery. The white area goes to the ground.
As I was expecting exactly what I received, I couldn't have been happier. The fact that it would be made of ABS rather than FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) had never occurred to me. The material is pretty fragile, so abusing it will not be of much benefit. I only use it on rare occasions, so it meets minimum requirements for the price and my limited usage.
In need of a 4 to 7 pin adapter and having a hard time finding it locally, I bought this one and another brand. The former worked better for my needs since it had a single Taking a look at the picture, you can see that this installation is pretty clean. In order to install my hitch, we needed to drill an additional hole in the plate that came with the package. Once I did this, I was able to attach the plate to the mounting bracket for my Toyota dealer-installed 4 pin There were no extra holes to drill into the vehicle to accommodate Although the brakes on the trailer are not wired, all of the lights work. It was very fast to receive the package!.
I would recommend your product to anyone. I purchased a wiring kit separately and had no problem putting this in. I had no problems with the connector and it feels solid. I had it installed in my 1992 Dodge Dakota 2wd with the.
There are only 3 wires connected to the 4 way flat connector. Wires in the ground are missing the white ones. To connect this separate white wire to the metal frame, I have to attach a separate white wire to the car's body. The best solution for you would be to buy another adapter with Since the car's 4 way connector already has this ground pin connected to it, we don't have to add it to the wiring.
It was a simple job to install the wiring, and now all the lights are working. I had one complaint, the mounting bracket was much shorter than what was needed for quick, easy access into and plugging into it.
The 4-pole socket does not need to be cut or spliced, just plug in the 4-pole socket You can plug your 7-into the flat plug and ground it and you're ready to go The way round plug is wonderful. I am planning on ordering a few examples for relatives. I have used it on three of our four trailers with no problems.
