The best thing to do is to take the cable to a dealer of RV parts. Several of the breakaways look the same, but the length may be a little off and they won't The cable that I had connecting my 5th wheel hitch to the snare got pinched between its parts By tying a few knots, I was able to solve the problem.
Don't forget to be cautious

In the original design, the breakaway pin snapped when I was able to replace the broken one with this one, even though there was a significant difference in the brand. In reality, nearly all of them are similar.
I have a 2012 passport travel trailer that I would like to replace. To resist corrosion, the caplets are sleeved with a clear rubber-like substance. I highly encourage you to do so!.
The trailer required a breakaway, so I was assigned to it. My toolbox usually contains a spare. A quick fix was made with one of these to put safety first. If these switches fail when they should, they can be life saving.
