I realized they were very well engineered as I installed them, which included building carpeted backing board liners to protect my boat. br>br>They were flawless and simple to install, though I did have to drill four mounting holes in each fender to allow for bolting. They're very forgiving, and you can ensure a custom fit by drilling your own mounting holes. Finally, they look and feel bulletproof and solid, second only to their outstanding appearance, once fully mounted and in place. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase or the appearance and functionality of my boat trailer.
