They've arrived, and they're made of a generic steel color. They appear to be made of high-quality steel and to be extremely durable. The fenders were also sent unpackaged and without a box. They were held together by a shipping label that was glued directly to the metal and was difficult to remove. The new fenders are completely covered in scratches and scuffs that appear to be the result of years of use. To minimize the shipping damage, I'll have to repaint it. They appear to be secondhand and used, despite the fact that we paid over $100 for a new product. br>Pros: Cons: Sturdy, heavy-duty productbr> The color of the fender does not match the picture, and the shipping packaging was inadequate. existent, causing the fenders to be damaged.
These were used to replace the wheels on a 1974 utility trailer. They're made of thick gauge steel (which is why I bought them) and should last at least as long as the originals, if not longer. br>I am pleased with the product's quality and construction. There were only two things that could have improved them. It took some time and effort to remove the shipping labels and glue so they could be painted, and if there was an option to have a backing on the inside, and if they had been wrapped first. They're very heavy duty, thick enough to weld on without burning through, and they look great for what I'm using them for.
br> A monster truck could be supported by four of these fenders without bending. I'm very pleased with the product's quality. When I told my father I bought them as a pair, he was surprised. He couldn't say anything for the price!.
Welding shouldn't be a problem. These fenders are what I would recommend. RecPro, thank you once more.
For our enclosed trailer, these were ideal. Who knows what happened to the original fenders; they aren't perfect, but they worked perfectly for what my husband needed them for.
Exactly what I needed! I primed them and rhino lined them because they were raw metal. Simple to set up. People were irritated that they weren't painted, according to some other reviews I read. Check out the summary!.
When it comes to installation, these fenders are a dream to work with. Those are some nice heavy-duty fenders. I'd buy it again if you asked me.
It doesn't look anything like the picture; it's not even painted, and it's not packaged properly.
