It is not possible to mount the brake control on the Prodigy P3. A Tekonsha 5906 brake control bracket is available for purchase
In addition to the wiring harness, I ordered a battery charger. I had to provide the make and model of the vehicle when I did that.

No harness or adapter is included with the control unit so it cannot be connected to a If this is mounted to a P2 Controller it will work. I am unsure how it behaves with other models. Hopefully this helps a bit!.
There is no need for it to be oriented towards any specific location.
It is necessary to modify this pocket slightly to allow the P3 to fit into it. To provide clearance for the connecting cable plug for whatever unit is intended to go into this pocket, there is a short 'step' in the plastic at the back of the However, for the P3, it is not sufficient. Since the P3's plug is located farther out to the side (the wrong side), once the connecting cable is attached, the P3 won't fit into your pocket completely. will have to remove a piece of plastic approximately 1" x 1/4" from the rear in order to allow clearance for the connector cable and Using a utility knife with a sharp blade, I removed a small amount of material at a time, and it took about 10 minutes to remove enough so I could afford to do this. Further, the clips that line up with the two holes on either side of the P3 do not align with the positions of the two clips that line up with the holes. This is far from the truth. Even just by friction alone, the P3 seems to stay in the pocket quite securely. For me, gravity alone will suffice since I intend to mount with the P3 facing upward. A pocket at this location consists of The following is my opinion I believe it to be better than either bracket that came with the P3, if for no other reason than it has an approximately 3" x 2" frame. A velcro attachment on the back lets you mount it to your If I can avoid it, I would prefer not to put screw holes in my nice new car. It will take time to see. As for the reviews, I would give it five stars, but I will deduct one for Tekonsha's failure to provide a bracket that specifically.
The wiring harness connector needed to be able to connect to the controller, so I used a Dremel to grind out about 1/8" of the back of the case. The existing opening partially obscures the design. As of now, I have it velcro mounted just below and to the right of my steering wheel on my Ford Focus It's not the Velcro that will work but the Velcro grip is stronger than the Velcro mounting adhesive I end up pulling the Velcro off the surface rather than separating the velcro pads, even when I cleaned the mount with 91% isopropyl.
I love this product because it allows me to remove my brake control, and use it on other trucks without having to buy controls for each one. If you don't like the hole placement, just remove it to avoid theft if you like. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the unfriendly hole placement. As a result of this design, it seems as if it assumes you are drilling a hole for the first time rather than aligning with holes that have already been drilled, as most trucks are designed to do. Metal brackets of this style have slots so you can line them up with holes, but this one has pre-drilled holes As you can see, the round holes are in grooves. This means that you must drill a new hole in a different place since the holes are in grooves. In order to use my power multi-tool, I needed to take it Then I used a slot-cutting tool to make a slot between 2 holes, and I got to grind down one of those raised ribs between holes to line up with my pre-cut slot As I am sure many people feel the same way, drilling any new holes in a nicely designed truck that already contains some holes is not good for me. Apart from that, I really like how it works and how easy it is.
I wanted to mount a second camera on my second vehicle since it holds my Tekonsha P3 well. Even though the description did not indicate that the P3 would fit, I was willing to give it a try given its low price. Everything works as it should.
It does exactly what it is designed for and holds my brake controller perfectly.
I have a breaker controller in my SUV and wanted to use the same unit in it. It works according to the design. Successful completion of the mission.
