My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee GC does not have the trailer package
5/5

It's a breeze to put together, but finding the grey connector is a challenge. Because our Jeep Grand Cherokee lacked the factory tow package, I had given up hope of a simple installation. I learned from forums and other sources that ALL Grand Cherokees came with trailer wiring and that the connector is extremely difficult to come by. I looked where the wire bundle comes down from the dash, where the connector is supposed to be, after removing the bottom trim cover near the brake and gas pedal. I didn't notice anything until I realized the connector was there, but it was zip tied to the cable's BACK! You must know where to look in order to find what you are looking for. Remove the zip-lock bag. BINGO! I finished tying my tie and plugging everything in. Without having to crawl under the Jeep and run the blue wire, everything is connected and working perfectly. 8^).

My dealer-installed wiring harness didn't work perfectly
3/5

I'm not sure if this is only true for the factory tow package, but on the dealer-installed harness, the slot where the blue brake wire should connect has no connection to the brakes through the harness. I had to cut the brake wire and run it through the firewall to the unconnected wire at the end of the harness, as per the dealer's installation instructions. The other three wires were fine, and the brakes worked fine after I ran the blue wire to the harness; the connector did fit the under dash connector, which saved me the trouble of having to find and run at least three of the four connections.

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with Towing Package was a perfect fit
5/5

Even though these don't claim to support towing, they're a perfect fit for our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with Towing Package. In terms of this product, they were simple to install, despite Chrysler's apparent efforts to make it as difficult as possible (the plug was difficult to access without disassembling the entire dash).

On the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, it works perfectly
5/5

Install in a flash! On my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo E (with factory towing added after purchase by the dealer), everything worked perfectly. The factory plug was located directly in front of the E-Type. Up under the dash is where the brake arm is located. It was only necessary to remove the side kick panel and the small "cardboard" cover under the dash. It took about 30 minutes in the driveway to install the brake controller because it was made so simple. This book comes highly recommended.

In my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it worked perfectly
5/5

This was the exact wire harness I needed to install my Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller, just like it said it would be. The connectors on both ends are correct, and the length of wire allows the brake controller to be mounted almost anywhere in the driver footwell on the lower part of the dash.

For the 2020 Pacifica, it's a couple of inches too short
3/5

Because the knee airbag, when inflated, shoots out/over and covers the usual area for mounting a tow controller, and because I didn't want to mount it on top of the dash, I decided to mount it in the center console (I didn't want a heavy P3 or anything ejected at me or whoever is driving). To get it to where it needed to be, I had to cut and add about 5 inches of wire.

It was a breeze to install the brake controller
5/5

I was able to confirm. It was a breeze to install the brake controller. Due to mixed reviews about fit, I double-checked the model number, but I believe they didn't know what they were getting or didn't have the tow package. For my 2015 Dodge Durango R/T with factory tow package, this worked perfectly. There is no need to splice or run wires. Simply connect it to the power source and you're ready to go!.

It was a perfect match
5/5

On a pre-wired 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it just snaps into place. My wife installed it in 3 minutes with her small hands. Excellent product. It was a perfect match.
