In most cases, if not all, of the vehicles will work with the brake controller. If you want to connect the factory brake control connector to the brake controller, you will need to buy the appropriate jumper wiring harness for your vehicle. When you do not have the jumper harness, the controller can be hard wired to the factory connector.

If you are a Ford Explorer, look behind your glove box

We have taped up the Ford harness behind there. There may be a need to tape over the Ford hardness to be able to plug it into the Curt Look near the gas pedal up and on the right side of the driver's seat it is not on explorer 2003, and another person said it was the same in The back wire can be avoided, so there is no need to run it all the way around. Curt did a great job producing this.

My Ford E250 '06's plug plugged right in (forward left corner under the dash, drivers side). Unfortunately Ford did not run the brake wire all the way to the back so I had to run it as well, but the rest of the wires were provided to the controller.

It is very easy to install since you just plug it directly into the female connector under your this product had to be returned, since the Curt brake controller was damaged from the factory when I received it.

Suitable for 2003-2007 Ford F250 7

Plugs in well. Approximately 3 ltr. Located under the right lower corner of the fuse kick panel, this factory plug hides out of sight. I then hooked up the controller to it.

I did have the towing plug under my dash, so I had no problem connecting

I was able to find the plug for my truck and trailer underneath my dash, but I was not able to locate the plug for my trailer underneath my truck or trailer Plugged it in and cut the blue wire with a trailer brake wiring kit I got from a store. From the plug, the red wire from the battery is connected to the battery and the blue wire from the brake controller is connected to the blue wire.

It worked really well! I loved it. It worked really well! It took me just 10 minutes to complete installation. It would have been easier if I could have had the local trailer dealer do it, but they said my car didn't have a plug and they would have to wire everything. I love it! During the time I had my 2004 Ford Explorer, one of its fuses blew. There is a glove box behind the right side of the steering wheel.

I was looking for something like this. The listing on Amazon says that this does not fit a 2012 Ford Expedition, but I can tell you it was a perfect fit. My vehicle came with a factory harness and I already owned a Curt Tri-Flex brake controller that could be used with it. It allowed me to plug in my brake controller and have it working right away without any hassle. I didn't expect it to work so well.
