Questions & Answers
Although this is an older question, the answer is still yes. With the exception of the springs, the 3500 and 4400 axles (3" Tubes) are identical.
I'm not familiar with that brand, but I know they work well on Dexter 3500 lb axles.
I'm not sure what you're going to do with these. The 17255TB is an oil seal, while the 17255TC is a grease seal for trailer axles. As a result of the application, the oil seal will be designed slightly differently. I would not recommend using these for anything other than a trailer bearing seal. A trailer bearing seal is essentially a dust cover that keeps dirt out and grease in, and I doubt it would maintain any kind of oil pressure like an oil seal would.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but these are well made, double walled, and have a spring insert, and they fit perfectly. There was a review about cheap, dull rubber, but these are the shiny rubber that feels very durable.
These were purchased as backups. On the tapered spindles of the boat trailer, the bath oil hubs are still in use. One seal was leaking because it was not a tight fit around the spindle because it was from a different brand. I had one of the greens left, so I put it on and lo, it leaked, so I bought these four to be ready for anything. The seals were well-protected from the elements. I didn't want to open them because I was curious about the rubber's statistics. I am extremely happy. The price was reasonable, and the delivery time was prompt.
Most likely came from a bulk package because it was wrapped in celophane and paper, which I don't mind because the price was so good. If that helps anyone, I installed these on a Starcraft Travelstar 21 SB travel trailer and they worked perfectly.
These were ordered for my 4000 pound double axle RV. Factory seals were replaced, and these were simple to install and perfectly fit. They appear to be identical to the ones that were taken out of the factory.
The seals I got were of good quality and fit well. I read some reviews that might have had something to do with different suppliers or quality issues, but these were exactly as described.
I like the item, but I have yet to install it, so I can't give it a five-star rating. This item has been installed, and the rating has been changed to 5 stars.
I recently repacked my trailer bearings and purchased these to use in the future because they are of good quality and appear to be original on my 3500 Dexter axles. There is a fantastic value for money there. I used to have my bearings repacked at the dealer, and the seals alone were twice as expensive.
These were the ones. My old seals were 001 smaller on the inside diameter than these new ones. On my EZ lube axles, I believe they'll still work fine. A tight seal is required for this. Today, I put them in. I didn't notice any size markings on them, so it might be a good idea to jot down the size somewhere for the next time they're needed.
