I was able to get a replacement set of bearings in a pinch. Last year, I replaced all of the bearings in our 30 foot travel trailer. As a result, I always jack up my tires and inspect them prior to going camping. I had on a shirt that was way too big. I decided to pull. I took out the seal to inspect the inner bearing, which I had pulled out. So, while looking for the seal, I came across this and realized that for a few dollars more, I could get some extra bearings. So I went ahead and placed my order. It arrived in two days, just as it was supposed to. The video is of poor quality. As a result, they will be exactly that. They will only be used in an emergency. They have too much play in them, and one of them is rough. I was going to return it, but I had already opened it and have a spare in case of an emergency. This item is not something I would recommend. I gave it a two-star rating because it arrived on time.
Leading Edge Trailer sent me two of these sets, which I received. The bearing sets were not packaged in the Redline bubble packs in the way that they were shown. Rather, the various components were gathered and sealed in a small plastic bag. They're most likely fine, but I don't like being duped. In addition, I'm purchasing them as spares for my travel trailer, which I'll be towing for who knows how long. I'd prefer that the heavy bearings don't rub against the seal's rubber lips. The use of the bubble pack would have been beneficial.
On my 24 foot camper, I installed four of them. They are holding up well after a 1,000-mile round trip; my wheels have no wiggle and the hubs have remained cool. I filled them with Lithium / Molly bearing grease by hand (the proper way). The bearings were manufactured in China and have some play. They shouldn't get so much air time, in my opinion. OEM bearings made in the United States are installed in the front hubs of my 1968 GMC and have no play. There is a significant difference in quality between products made in the United States and those made in China. 4 out of 5 stars for functionality and fit - Quality is a one.
To clarify any previous reviews, they must have gone back to the better prepackaged version of these bearings. After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant to order them.
My vehicles are serviced once a year, but **THINGS** happen. As a backup, I keep this and a small can of grease in my trailer toolbox - in case something goes wrong br>It's a small price to pay for peace of mind. br>In addition, all of the parts appear to be of high quality. br>Pull the trigger and place your order right now!.
These bearings appear to be of excellent quality, and they arrive in kit form, ready for preparation and installation. Only time will tell if they are good or not. Individual trailer owners/users are the most important factor to consider when it comes to bearings. Make sure they're installed correctly, and then keep them lubricated with a good grease. In the case of boat trailers, such as mine, it's MARINE grease.
I'm crossing my fingers that these are the ones for my camper. Lol. Other campers recommended it, so I made sure I had one on hand.
On the inner berring, the outer race took place. 002 is too big for my hub to fit. Fortunately, the old race for each wager was still good and even. The rest of it worked out perfectly.
