What is the match for seal 31052?

Most axles weighing 3500 pounds will fit this seal. The inside and outside diameters of your old seal are what you need to know. If the Lippert Seal is the same as this one, 1. 719 mm in diameter on the inside, 2 mm on the outside This seal should work because it has a 565 outside diameter. This same size seal is available from Tractor Supply Company, but Amazon has a better deal.

Is this seal compatible with my Forrest River Wildwood from 2005?

I have no idea. Ask the manufacturer of your 2005, remove the wheel and look at the stamp on the seal, and measure the dia. of the shaft and the od housing for seals

What is the thickness of the seal? 8mm is the size of the ones I'm replacing. 31"?

This grease seal is far too delicate, with the metal appearing to be very soft and easily damaged during installation

A burr on the inside edge of the hub had severely damaged the first seal I installed. By removing and reshaping the leading edge of the seal that had been torn by the burr while tapping it into place, I was able to save it. In order to get the seal started, I had to chamfer the hub with a dremel tool enough to create a pronounced taper. I've installed a lot of grease seals over the last 50 years or so, and I've never seen one with such soft, easily damaged metal. The old seals were made of much stronger steel than these seals, which was obvious. Next time, I'll pay a little more for Timken seals.

When I got a new disc brake kit for my boat trailer, I had no choice but to buy it. One of the seals in the kit was bent and couldn't be used. I didn't want to wait for a replacement from the kit supplier, so I ordered these from Amazon the next day, and they arrived the next day via Prime next day delivery. The seal is well-fitting and performs as expected. keep the grease.
