This is a 3,500 pound standard 84 spindle bearing kit. Axles made by Dexter, AlKo, Hayes, Quality, Lippert, and Rockwell.
L68149 and L44649 bearings are the models in question. They can accommodate a 3500 pound person. Dexter Axle is a term used to describe a type of axle.
It's a lip seal that has two lips.

Because I don't have "easy grease axles," I keep extra caps and rubber covers on hand. My trailer was built in 1998, and the bearings are no longer as strong as they once were. That being said, nothing made 10 years ago, much less 20 years ago, will be found. To put it another way, consider a 1970s pickup truck. From the 1980s to today's truck; A hail storm is too much for today's truck. Except for one small bearing, the kit was complete, but everything was not individually packed, and the bubble wrap was all popped. Nothing was damaged due to the package's tight wrapping.
My boat trailer was a success. Everything was in good working order and included everything that was specified. Everything is made in China, including the bearings, I'm sure. Only take the boat trailer on one 12-hour round trip per year; otherwise, only 1/2-hour round trips every weekend during the summer. If they last two weeks, they will be considered successful. I'll be content in three years, which I'm confident they will.
Everything appeared to be in poor condition. China is the source of this product. In a plastic bag, all of the parts were loose and mixed together. In addition, the 2 - I returned for a refund because T555846 seals were missing. However, it took more than a week for them to process my refund after they received my return.
I'm guessing these are Chinese, but they don't seem to be of poor quality; the fit was good, and the bearings turned smoothly before I greased them. The seals, as well as the hardware and lug nuts, are of good quality, and I'll see how they hold up after a few seasons.
However, double-check that you're purchasing the correct equipment. Because of the Chinese bearings, I'm giving this kit a 4 out of 5. I wish there had been a way to get Timkin Bearings. I'm sure the China bearings are fine, but for a variety of reasons, I decided not to use this kit at all. 1 I made a mistake in my order! A 84 spindle is something I don't have. Given the bearing numbers, I assumed I did. The bearings turned out to be the only part of the kit that fit MY hub correctly. This kit came with thicker races that wouldn't fit in my hubs; this is MY fault, not SWW's or the kit's. br>br>2 The seals for MY spindles were incorrect in this kit. Again, I ordered the wrong item, which is 100% my fault. Make sure you know what you are ordering! br>br>3 Wheel bolts are drilled and tapped into my hubs. I couldn't use the lug nuts because I didn't have wheel studs. br>br>I'm sure you'll be pleased if you order the correct kit! In comparison to purchasing everything separately, this is a fantastic deal!.
What a fantastic kit for your trailer at an unbelievable price. br>I'm sure it's Chinese, but you'd be hard pressed to find a bearing kit that wasn't. br>I've put 3000 miles on the trailer without a hitch since it was installed. Amsoil is a good grease to use.
It was a perfect fit for my trailer. To get the nut on, the locking washer needed to be tweeked a little, but once that was done, it worked perfectly.
Parts of excellent quality. Very handy parts package with some flexibility in terms of minor axle differences. br>(two styles of axle caps)br>Bearing races were missing from my package.
