I'm not sure, but I use a 5/8" Chicago shackle with it, and it fits comfortably. I'd say it's about a 3/4" hole.
I went with the bigger one because you never know how much you'll be carrying.
It will, in fact. It is, however, valued at £20,000. (5 ton)
Yes, I'd like to accept your invitation. It has a fairly difficult final finish. If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy, I'd recommend getting two. It's a fantastic piece of apparatus. If you take care of it, it will last a long time, just like everything else.

I've used it twice now, once with a friend who was also using one (two 8k lb winches, both with snatch blocks) to rescue people who were truly stuck. It's big and heavy (like 8 pounds and won't fit in a glove box big), but when the weather is bad and you need to get things done, you want your recovery gear to do the job. br>br>Find out what works best for your vehicle, but when I winch, I put it in neutral and stand on the brakes. There's no pulling on the transmission, and all the resistance goes where it's supposed to: The brake pads are connected directly to the wheels, tires, and the ground. Especially when it comes to a topic like this. You don't want 10,000 pounds of pulling power to go into your transmission.
Snatch block of the highest order. I've used it to recover stuck vehicles on several occasions. To get a fifth wheel camper trailer off the edge of the drop-off, I dragged it across a muddy road sideways. off. Snatch block did a fantastic job. (The winch I'm using is a Smittybilt XRC 9500 lb winch. ) See the attached photo of the Superwinch 7750A (which I love but is no longer available) and a standard 3/4" bow shackle for size comparison. When it comes to vehicle recovery equipment, being big and heavy is a good thing.
What more can be said about a Warn? In a small package, a monster of a block. There are two of them in my possession. I've had one of them for 25 years and it's still going strong, despite the fact that I've abused it. Tractors, tree stumps, trucks, you name it, were all pulled up from the ground. I've easily applied 16,000 pounds of force to it without issue.
Other snatch blocks are a waste of time. It's the real deal with this one. Every tow truck we have has one, and the inexpensive ones are dangerous. From now on, I'm only going to buy these ones.
This is a well-made product that I've used several times with no problems.
Excellent item for a 4500 pound rope winch!.
I did a lot of research and this item is absolutely perfect. This is a good product.
This is a great block! I wouldn't expect the Warn Epic to produce the same results as this block if I bought it.
