Hoisting your mother after strapping her into my new adult swing was a breeze 10 out of 10!.
One of these came in handy the other day when I needed to straighten out a friend's RZR that was pulling at an unusual angle. It worked perfectly and greatly simplified a difficult task. Snatch blocks aren't required for all winching events, but they're useful for those that require pulling at an awkward angle or to double the pulling force.
After a few uses, I noticed that the pulley had a lot of play in it. I took out the snap rings. The snatch block was examined. I was disappointed to find that the shaft had a lot of wear on it. There isn't a grease zerk to be found. I'm not going to purchase it again. If you're purchasing a snatch block, make sure it has a grease zerk so you can lubricate it!.
When the winch can't pull hard enough, using one of these is a simple solution. The product is of excellent quality and is simple to use.
In a home gym, it's used to make a DIY cable machine. If you pull on the pulleys, they are very smooth and quiet. (However, if force is applied at a high enough angle, they squeak. ).
I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be good value; hopefully, I won't be stuck long enough to require them, and they are inexpensive insurance.
