There seems to be no reason not to. Although you aren't going to hurt either that snatch block or the cable's coating, it may not be the greatest thing you can do.
The rope/cable it can handle according to the manufacturer's specification is up to 0.33". I have a Warn MS12S winch with 3/8" synthetic rope, it fits just fine. There is an extra 1/8" on each side, which is just a touch thicker.
The USA is a very well built country

On the Arctic Scorpions own warning statement they paste on the block (see photo), they indicate that this pulley is for ropes with a diameter of 12mm. Ropes longer than 15mm are not available. Even though I will not return this, it limits the recommended rope size to less than 1/2 inch, which reduces the maximum working load range to between 4000 and 5000 pounds for most ropes. This pulley was made for a thinner rope, but I am not sure it will work with a thicker rope. I was hoping to use a 5/8" rope on it, and this pulley is not designed for that kind of a rope. A pulley rated for 26,000 pounds would not be appropriate for a rope wider than 4 inches. The block is strong and well made and I suspect it is more suitable for steel cable or Amsteel rope rather than Polydacron or another rope.
It seems sturdy. I will use it for an aerial trolley run for my dogs down a slope, until there is fencing in place. According to the product's specifications, the device can handle nine. Rope with a diameter of 5 mm. The rope I purchased is 10 mm, but one customer documented with a photo that the rope was actually just 9 mm, so I believe I will be able to use it. Due to lack of availability of the pin anchor clasp, I need to wait an extra week or so for it to be ready. are a wide range of prices on Amazon for anchor clasps called D rings that are as durable as they are stylish. There have been critical reviews of the usually steel pulleys used in dog runs - but this, in general, did not much, so I plan to give it a shot. Once I have it set up, I will update this.
The item is not the one described. According to the description, it is compatible with up to 15mm of tubing. Although it says that it will work with 6 diameter cable, when I receive the item it will only work with 12mm cable. After receiving it on Friday, I needed this for work on Sunday, but now I'm stuck without the correct part to complete the task!.
Does anyone know where the grease is? The bearing is lubricated on the outside only. The pieces are difficult to disassemble as well. If we just apply a little grease, we'll know it will last longer and perform better. My grease gun was calling me, so I grabbed it. The nice fitting, however, does not allow me to fit my gun nozzle do all things appear to be a little Just like me, I need everything to be replaced with the new dimensions and metric measurements. do I have the right size 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drives? The government hasn't yet changed it.
The size is quite large for most auto or ATV applications, but it is well made compared to an 800 lb lift. . It is rated snatch block that is half the price. You are covered if anything happens to your winch system. Unlike this snatch block, it won't be this. Half-way through your pull Use a moon clip and axle grease to prevent use of axle 4/4.
One of the circlips lost in the process of joining two prints next to each other. In my experience, if you use it more than 4000 lbs (which I often do), the middle piece gets very worn out.
China is the country that makes this snatch block. It does not have a grease fitting or grease. When it is shipped dry, it comes in a box. For less than half the price of twenty bucks you can find Chinese made snatch blocks. These are not worth the money.
We know you will be happy with the quality and the durability of this snatch block and pulley. I can pull the 6,500-pound armored Land Cruiser/LX570 out of the mud without a problem. Packaging was satisfactory (in a box surrounded by air padded envelopes).
