I use a 3/4" shackle and there is plenty of room to fit one with at least 1 1/4" hole
The nineteenth inch.
The dimensions of the object are 10 1/4" high by 5" wide by 2". It accepts rope up to 5/8".
It would be a little tight at 3/4". The rope I use is 5/8" wide.

Compared to other pulleys, this one has round plates and lots of slop between the sides and the pulleys. A pulley and axle also have a lot of slop to them. The unit is of much lower quality overall and appears to be the same item sold on a popular auction site for substantially.
The block is very nice but the clip it comes with will pop off with time. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the clip.
I used 1/2" synthetic tow rope and it worked very well. It is easy to use and is sturdy.
The wheel on this snatch block isn't as smooth as those on other snatch blocks. However, it does the job.
It is incorrect to indicate the cable or rope can be 1/2"*3/4". You could maybe fit it between the side plates, but the groove in the sheave is only a little over 1/2" wide. Obviously, its a small block, but I'm sure that using a 5/8" or 3/4" cable on it would deform and ruin the cable. Also, I bought it because it was one of the few that said it could hold a wire rope over 1/2".
The lots look promising and I look forward to using them. That's a great thing, because it's much heavier duty than I expected.
It does what it needs to do.
I started with 5/8 rope and it has worked great so far. This is a good tool that I'll use more often.
