There is an indication they are from China in the post. A chain shackle made in the USA costs about $30 per unit, but you know what the components are made of, and at that price point their strength is guaranteed.

This set of shackles was purchased to use on the front bumper of my 2018 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel with an optional Fabfours winch. The hooks on the factory bumper may no longer work. Listed as a 4. 0 off road shackle, these off road shackles measure 13 inches in length. When I'm stuck or someone else needs help, I should be able to use a 75 Ton or (10450lbs) as long as they are not too heavy or they're not Despite my nervousness, I did get someone out of a 3/4-ton truck due to a shackle breaking after hitting black ice. I was not sure whether it would break or not, but I pulled him out. The off-road rope makes it so much easier for me when I use kinetic energy. A red set of shackles looks good in Red and Blue If we could leave them mounted all the time, it would not matter. But some scumbag would come along and trample them. This is yours for the taking. However, I am curious if they can make it through long term ordinary tugging and pulling, so I have my doubts about that. For top-of-the-line shackles, you usually have to spend more money. It has so far been a good experience. As far as Durability goes, I'm being generous at 4 stars considering I've not yet put them through their paces. In terms of value for money, they are worth it if they can stand up to abuse. I'll keep you posted.
This might be necessary if the vehicle is moving or braking hard.
The bumpers, etc. , can be removed, which may be recommended before recovery efforts begin. They look great on my Xterra with offroad bumpers and I am very impressed. Thanks a ton! My turn signals are almost the same exact color!.
That is the exact shade of red I was looking for. I like them because they fit smoothly, don't rattle, stay tight, and look good too.
Paint has been applied thickly to finish these off nicely. There are no problems with these devices and they accomplish what they are supposed to do. I'm pretty sure the rubber inserts are cute but useless. It doesn't matter how they come off, I just threw them away.
Despite the fact that they weigh heavy and are strong, they do the job with no problems.
I found these used but they were just like new. They must have been returned due to powder coat imperfections and the rubber protector seems a little loose but overall this is a good product and will do the job for hooking up tow straps.
Not even a single rubber piece has fallen off The tires have been on the truck for almost a month and they have not caused any issues so far. While driving they never make any noise, even when they are rubber bumpers. Although I've hit some bumps along the way, I've yet to lose a piece.
They are nice and strong the only problem I had was putting the washers and shackles on the mounts but they went on very easily and look awesome on my new steel bumper for my Jeep JK.
