The shackle is 3/4" in diameter and the pin is 7/8" long. This just happened an hour ago, as I just confirmed.
There isn't any information I am aware of, but I know it is very powerful
I was not supplied with a d-ring with the watch I purchased. A copy can be found on Amazon, any bookstore, or online You can get them at Tractor Supply here in New England or at any road store.
In the absence of a fair lead, it does not appear. This part of it only sticks out about half an inch from the fairlead with the rubber coated part remaining flat against it

All the questions that I asked were the same. In viewing Factor 55's president's videos, I watched the history of their products, so I wondered Why are these Factor 55 products so expensive? As a result of all the reviews, I found a lot of appeal, but I could not comprehend why this item is so expensive, so when I gave in and ordered the Flatlink, I was very excited to receive it. As a matter of fact, the first thing I noticed was the quality of this thing when unboxing it. I thought it was some kind of massive piece of jewelry. It's so ugly that I don't even want it hanging off the front of the You should not hesitate to purchase a Factor 55 product if you are on the fence about it. You should buy it as soon as My synthetic rope for the Smittybilt winch is fitted with it. Despite having to cut the ugly hook off, it is what it is. I know I can deal with anything I throw at the Flatlink because it looks unreal.
This little addition has been very helpful for I was able to fit it to my Rhino shackles.
Don't waste your time trying the alternative options before spending the money and getting it right the first time.
I'll be honest. There's no denying that this Jeep bling is some serious stuff. However, I haven't been able to mount the winch in the new Jeep yet, but I picked up the things I needed to install it. This FlatLink, along with a new winch mount, centering plate, fairlead and fairlead cable, is all new. As part of my refurbishing project, I intend to install my old Warn XD9000i into a steel Rubicon X bumper (like the Hard Rock). Despite its small size, although the FlatLink looks great, its build quality, machining and finish all look fantastic. I honestly think the price is too high. There is a good reason for them to. The Ultra Hook was really appealing to me, but I could not manage to spend an extra hundred dollars for it. In addition to the pictures, I will post reviews on some of the other products I used for the installation when all of this is completed.
It's nice to see a flat link like this! It takes only a few minutes to install if you have a To be safe, I align it with the c clip facing up just in case, since it is hard to tell whether it is placed properly. It would have been nice to have an extra C clip included for this price. Likewise, I would have preferred a rubber plug to seal the In the meantime, duct tape will just give me a temporary fix until I find a plug. Although the design can always be improved, that is only nitpicking. It is great to see a flat link! Also, I didn't notice that a new and improved version is available for 10 extra bucks despite reading all the reviews, somehow missed that.
Using a disc sander, I removed the factory hook installed by the manufacturer. Install the pin by lubricating it with waterproof grease. I enjoyed working on it and I think it A stronger and better hook than the one on the The rope is protected against damage in the case of a small collision, and shackles will not get snagged on the hook. Obviously, the only complaint I have is the price, it is too expensive and I don't see why it Having said that, if they lower the price on this product, it will sell like hotcakes. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and am thankful for Amazon for making things easier for me.
There is a lot to like about them because they are based primarily in the USA, and they support their products swiftly. The word "shilling" should not be used. A truly great job is done by them.
It was my responsibility to decide what to do with the hook when I installed the winch on the Jeep. ordered the 15102 from Rugged Ridge instead of the D ring shackles because I did not like the look of the shackles hanging from the bumpers. My original intention was to use the 04 Winch Hook Holder, but I changed my mind after it was installed. As a result, the flatlink draws into the bumper well, providing me with the solution I wanted.
