You don't need to bother with it, it's junk
There is no interference with the Warn 2000 dash mount rocker switch on the winch I own. I am not sure about the winch model, but my Warn 2000 work fine with it. On my Viking, I can use either one. In fact, all you are doing is installing the remote receiver in conjunction with the It is a fairly easy project and there are clear instructions
There is only one Winch that can be programmed with the wireless transmitter. It is necessary to have two wireless transmitters for two winches.
On a Warn 4500s, it does not connect to the remote port, but instead wires between the dash switch and the remote port. It's not difficult to link as I recall.

The dealer installed my VRX 25 Warn winch without a remote control, and there was no place to plug it As a result, I couldn't imagine me spooling my cable neatly with just a handlebar mounted switch, so this solution was perfect for me. A nice bar mount system comes with the remote, but I just store it in my dry box because I don't use it since my bars are already full. Small enough to fit into a pocket, the remote controls have big buttons that give enough room for gloves to fit. It has a hole for a lanyard, as well.
The receiver is designed to be mounted on a bar as well, with some zip ties included. Because my electronics are all under the seat, and I don't have any good bar mounts, it was difficult to attach such an oddly shaped box to the bar mount, but it worked out. I really like it!.
I really like it. I wired it to my 2019 Can Am Outlander, it wasn't too difficult. It probably took longer to find my winch contactor than to actually It's not a good idea to wire to the ignition, as it says in the manual. If the fuse blows, you're out of luck. A 12v charger port was wired to power the device. I blew the fuse, but I still made it home safely.
When it comes to schema, I leave that to Shane since I'm an expert at oil changes. My new cable was stranded after it was installed and I was able to use it He was able to use remote access after I logged into it. As I was cutting the beam up in stove length, I used the remote control to pull up a small tree beam to pull up. A remote from Warn was a major help to keep everything spooling correctly and kept me safe while handling I got the beam positioned so that it was a lot easier to run the saw on it. As an extension to my old wire rope for retrieving deer, I kept it to use as an extension in my find. That will let me keep the Brute Force up on the ridge atop an appropriate tree, where it will be in a better position to winch the deer outta there so I can drag them back to my cabin. This hillbilly used to get along just fine without this great gadget from Warn for so long, didn't he? You need to get this sooner if you are using your Warn!.
This item cannot be matched by them. Since I have installed a large number of Warn winches and Warn accessories in my lifetime, I have come to the conclusion that Warn believes that their customers all hold advanced degrees As far as I'm concerned, this was the hardest too as the winch I installed (VRX 35 on a Yamaha Rmax) must have been a newer model than what the installation instructions were for, since my winch setup did not appear to be included in the instructions. I had a lot of hit and miss during the installation. However, the program works perfectly.
This new accessory was just delivered to my Yamaha Viking 700 for use with my Warn winch to make operating my snow plow more convenient. It will do you a lot of good to I only had one slight problem with the installation, and that was the lost nut from the power block my buddy dropped into Neverland! Other than that little setback, it was a very straightforward process. In this case, finding the wire to splice to is the most difficult part. The hint is To find the red wire, look for a red wire that is similar in size to the one in the included wiring harness and use a circuit-breaker It is important to use a tester probe (available at most auto parts stores) to make sure that it only lights up when the ignition switch is set Apart from that, it is just a matter of matching colors and connecting. Upon our first operation after installation, neither the remote nor the existing rocker switch worked, but I found out my buddy hadn't crimped the wire splice thoroughly enough, and the connection was incomplete. With a little squeeze of the pliers, the problem was solved. Don't hesitate to get one you won't regret it!.
As I change my review from two to five stars, I am giving it five stars. As far as I was concerned, the remote was dead since I had tapped a bad power source. As it turns out, the remote was working fine and I was just being a fool. My friend David has had this for a few months now and he seems to be totally into The fact that I am able to control the winch while I am off the bike, hooking up to something, makes it so much Because I liked it so much, I would like to have a similar version for my Jeep.
I like how it works. On the 2019 midsize polaris ranger no need to remove the wires from the dash switch, you just cut them by relay, put new ends on them, then connected a second set of green and black wire to the relay and ground the red wires. I spent about 25 minutes on the job. A remote control is mounted on the roof bracket above the steering wheel.
It's easy to install, plug in and play, and works extremely well with my warn RT30 winch. It took me no more than ten minutes from the time I received it to have it hooked up.
