The plug does not make a connection if it is fully inserted, you actually have to back it out a bit to make it make contact

I suspect the tabs are thinner than they should be. Great customer service. This is an excellent idea, but a poor product. It has crossed my mind to see if I can bend them a bit to get them to function properly, but with a brand new item that should not be necessary

I used these as a rapid disconnect for my 12v power project

I was able to power lighting, electric outlets, and other apparatus in an enclosed trailer using the 12v battery. I like it a lot. You need to make sure that the termination pins are snug when you crimp them onto a wire.

They're a bunch of scum! Stay away from each other and do not lock in. A boat is too risky to be worth it. Garbage purified to the core. Additionally, it is not easy to hook up to your wires. A different brand of product would be better.

I like them a lot. My issue is that I can not rely on them to provide a solid connection for a high flow air pump to work with my inflatable paddle board. Fortunately, I have some experience with quick disconnects or I would have been frustrated with the installation. Thank you for your kind words.

The most powerful connector you can find. The chargers I use for my camper go on both sides of the batteries. The truck is parked on the side so it can charge. Disconnecting one while parked is the other option. With a propane torch, I soldered the wires using 8 gauge wire. Connection that's as good as it gets.
