With the help of two of these connectors and a connector added to the power supply cable of the winch, I cut a set of 25' jumper cables in half. In this way, half the jumper cables can be connected directly to the car battery to power a portable winch mounted on any vehicle with a receiver or I can use them.

An optional winch cradle is used to attach a winch to a removable cradle. The connectors make the process of connecting and disconnecting the power to the winch very simple. I found assembly to be very easy. In my case, I did not crimp the cable to the end piece, but soldered them instead.

My husband and I thought this would be the perfect It started smoking and melted (literally) the connection the second time I used it. Even though we weren't turning it on at the maximum weight, we were still using it. Apparently the "fire proof" housing is now made up of lots of burned Retaining this item will be my first priority. It caught my eye so much that I had high expectations!.
