I'm not sure how many links there are, but the total length is 30 inches, which is sufficient for a trailer safety chain. This is a heavy-duty safety chain that is 5/16" thicker than others. I'm not sure if it's a class 4 or not.
They're rated at 3500, I believe.
They are only to be used as a safety net in the event that your hitch is lost.
I believe it is 3500, but I would double-check with the manufacturer to be sure.

This 16-foot enclosed trailer came with chains and hooks that were twice the size of my 31-foot travel trailer or my 26-foot heavy-duty cargo trailer, which was strange because they were way too long and difficult to put on with the oversize hooks. These are fantastic!.
Nothing against the product, but it was a chance or two short for what I needed, so I had to double up to one said I got so I could at least have one safety chain. This could be due to my trailer, or it could be because it was a chance or two short, but either way it didn't work for me.
These are heavy-duty chains that will fit anything from a 6' utility trailer to a 32' travel trailer. On a trailer weighing more than 8000 pounds, I wouldn't use them.
When I hook up my golf cart trailer to the fiver, I'll use these to extend the safety chains. The hooks are excellent at picking up slack.
It is very simple to set up. They were shorter than advertised, which means I won't be able to hook up in my driveway due to its incline. br>br>After the first use, the clip on the end came loose, but it was easy to reattach.
A good chain for replacing damaged or installing on a new unhook was not properly installed and will have to be replaced.
They carry out their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. Installing it was a breeze. It's a nice upgrade from the originals.
Heavy-duty chain designed for tough jobs. On my 14-foot aluminum boat trailer, I loaded it. It's great, but it's a little excessive.
