This synthetic rope is not something I would buy or recommend because it is easily damaged.

So, if I hear from the manufacturer, I'll let you know. br>After about a year and maybe ten uses, I've noticed that the line has flattened and almost melted on some of the line, despite the fact that when I installed it, I was careful to apply the proper pressure and line it up properly. I'm hoping that the warranty will cover the line, but we'll have to wait and see. The only heat applied to that line was from being outside, and considering I bought the cover for the winch, I don't see why this should have happened. In the next few days, I'll update the review with photos of the broken line. If it allows, I'll post a video.
FYI. If they guarantee this line, it's a good buy. If they don't, I'm going to avoid them. It's been a year since I bought it.
I did, however, use the rope once to pull half of a stripped-down sedan into a dumpster, and it sheared right at the mounting crimp. I can't afford to pay $100 every time I use my winch.
I ordered two and installed them on two rock buggies because it appears to be a high-quality winch rope. I haven't put them through their paces yet, but I don't anticipate any issues. br>br>Here are a few things I noticed. br>The black color appears to be rubbing off, as it did on my hand and fairlead during installation. br>The end terminals are a little chunky, so I sanded them down to a thinner profile so the second wrap over it wouldn't be damaged.
While attempting to install the attachment, I broke it. So it's most likely my fault, as I attempted to install on a Smittybilt 9500. The attachment was too thick to be installed with the winch's screw. I hammered the attachment until it was thin enough to put in place. It snapped at the attachment point as soon as I put pressure on it. Once again, it's my fault.
The rope is attractive and functional. I put it in on Monday and had to use it again today to get out of a mud puddle. There's not much else to say except that it works and looks great, and I'm glad to have it on my Jeep.
I'm hoping for the best!.
Synthetic winch rope in excellent condition. Several have occurred to me. This is an excellent alternative. A free shackle is tough to beat. I have yet to use it for any heavy winch pulls. I'm confident everything will work out fine.
This was bought as a backup rope in case I needed to reach out for a stronger anchor while witching my side by side; it's of good quality and should last me a long time.
